October Prayer Breakout

Thank you to all those that are joining with us in this month of prayer and fasting.  We are doing a "Daniel's Fast" during the first 21 days of October and as promised I will be sending out each week, prayer points and updates.

Once again, I encourage you to journal these times of prayer and write down what you believe God is saying to you.  A Daniel's fast is not a complete fast, but a fasting of certain food types and amounts.  There is a lot of information on the internet about Daniel's type fast and how beneficial they can also be for your health.  I will leave that to you, what and how you choose to fast, during this time, is between yourself and God.

Some people for health or other reasons may not be able to fast at all, but maybe you can fast other things like TV or other forms of entertainment, to give that time to prayer for your Nation, your Family and the Church.

Psalm 133 says, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!  It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments.  It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion;  For there the Lord commanded the blessing—Life forevermore."

As we pray together and focus our prayers, we will see outstanding results. This morning we had a wonderful time of prayer at our ministry center.  Much prayer came forward for peace and unity between North and South Korea and that whole region.  We prayed to see a move of God's Spirit through that Nation.  We prayed for our own government and our local community.  We prayed for the church family and upheld individual prayer requests as they were presented.

PLEASE EMAIL IN YOUR PRAYER REQUESTS!  Send them to general@whm.org.au.

For the next few days we are studying the book of Haggai and especially the scripture where the Lord tells us to consider our ways.  We are praying and interceding for the church in the earth and in this nation, that God's people would return to their first love.  Scripture reading is Revelation 2:1-7 and 1 Corinthians 11:23-34.

We are praying for God's people to renew and make a fresh commitment to seeking first the Kingdom of God and the vision that He has placed in their local church or ministry.

Tonight in the prayer meeting, starting at 7:30pm, we will be sharing communion together and praying for one another as led of the Spirit of God.  If you cannot be with us, please join with us in prayer at the time and take communion if it is convenient for you to do so.

Remember, Get Hungry, Get Thirsty, Get Expectant.  Together we will see BREAKOUT to VICTORY!

God bless,

Ps. Shaun Marler
