If You Only Believe

Hi family, friends and partners,

PRAISE THE LORD! He answers prayer! It has begun to rain, but we need much, much more!  Our farmers need your prayers right now!

Thank you for your prayers for rain and the government of this great land of Australia.  Remember, the Lord instructs us to pray for those that are in authority, that we many lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.  God says that this is good and acceptable in His sight.  In 1 Timothy 2: 4, it goes on to say, that God would have all people to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth.  For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

I believe this is the due time for Australia.  It is time for Australia and the islands around us to experience a great move of the Holy Spirit.  I believe, with all of my heart, that God wants us to see His manifest glory.

If you only believe, your eyes will see the Glory of God.  Jesus made this great promise to us in the book of John.  Let's continue to pray and thank the Father that this promise is granted to us the believers.  God has been sending rain in answer to the prayers of His people.  But we need MORE!  Let's have another day of prayer and fasting this coming Tuesday for rain.  Let's see the el nino weather event moved off our nation, and believe that clouds full of drought breaking rain are swept over the dry parts of inland Queensland, Western Australia and northern New South Wales.  Let's be determined to pray until this drought is broken.  At the same time, asking the Father for a mighty out pouring of the Holy Spirit and healing throughout our land.

Remember the scripture I gave you last week.

Zechariah 10:1b
Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime;
it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms.
He gives showers of rain to all people,
and plants of the field to everyone.

If we ask in faith, believing, we shall receive.  Our God is a miracle working God, our God is a God of wonders and healing.  3 John 2 says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."

This is the Father's heart and our prayer for your life, family, ministry and business.  That you prosper and enjoy good health, even as your soul continues to prosper in the Lord and His word.

Pastor Brian is back from his ministry trip to Rockhampton.  I will bring you all the exciting news next week.  This Sunday Ps. Brian will be ministering in services in local correctional centers.  PRAISE GOD, we have started to deliver tracts to letter boxes in our area.  It is our intention to put the good news of the gospel into thousands of local letter boxes.  Pray that people will take these tracts and read them, giving their hearts to Jesus as they receive the message of eternal life.

We here at World Harvest love to pray. It was S. D. Gordon who said, "The greatest thing anyone can do for God and for man is to pray.  You can do more than pray after you have prayed, but you cannot to more than pray until you have prayed.  Prayer is striking the winning blow...service is gathering up the results"

Let us continue to pray and pray more, upholding each other before the Lord, praying for our friends and bearing one another's  burdens.  Please send in your prayer requests.  And send in your testimonies to these prayers, as I would love to encourage others with your testimony, including it in these Harvest Updates.

Today, the Lord instructed me to include a prosperous thought for you.  Helping to empower you, to win in life through Jesus Christ.  Today's thought comes from Gen 26: 12-14 "Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous; for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and a great number of servants. So the Philistines envied him."

Here we see a powerful principle of increase.  In obedience to the Lord, Isaac sowed a seed in famine and brought forth a hundred fold harvest.  Sometimes we look at the circumstances, rather than the God we are giving to.  I encourage you to turn your eyes to Jesus, looking to Him as the author and finisher of your faith.  Continue to sow regardless of the circumstances and God will bless and increase you more and more.

Love and blessings in Jesus.

God bless,
Ps. Shaun Marler
