It is finished!

"It is finished!” - John 19:30 (NKJV)

Hi Partners, Family and Friends,

Tomorrow is Good Friday and on Sunday the world celebrates the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.  It is Resurrection Sunday.

"It is finished!" (John 19:30).  What a profound statement, I could share much on this statement.

Jesus accomplished so much for us on the Cross of Calvary.  There is so many different things that we can bring out, but space doesn't allow it in this blog.  I would like …

Be Strong!

"Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” - Deuteronomy 31:6 (NKJV)

Hi Partners, Family and Friends,

Last week, I shared about "casting your cares onto Jesus".  Bringing all your burdens to the Lord and leave them there.  The reason we can do this with confidence, is because of the above verse and other promises like this in the Word of God.  From the above verse, we are told to be strong and courageous, not to fear for the Lord …

Casting Your Cares

"Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you."- 1 Peter 5:7 (NKJV)
Hi Partners, Family and Friends,

This week, as my quote, I felt to share the above verse.  In the Amplified Bible it says, "Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully."

Wow!  Don't you just love that?  Almighty God, the Creator of the universe invites you, asks you, to cast a…

Prayer and Praise - excerpt from Dr. Shaun's 'Praise Power' book.

Prayer and Praise

2 Timothy 3:1-2 reveals to us, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy...”

The word here that I want to emphasise is unthankful.

The Bible tells us, one of the conditions of men’s hearts in the last days, is that they will be unthankful.

Philippians 4:4-6 reminds us to “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.  Let your moderation be known unto all men.  The Lord is at hand.  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

We are instructed to rejoice in the Lord always, and again to rejoice.  That means to do it over and over, over and over, and over again.  Keep on rejoicing.  The verse goes on to tell us that the Lord is at hand, that we should be careful for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication wit…

The Wandering Hubcap - excerpt from Dr. Shaun's 'Praise Power' book.

Praise Report 1  - excerpt from Dr. Shaun's 'Praise Power' book.

Testimony of the Wandering Hubcap

In my younger days, I drove a bright green sporty Mazda 929. One day I noticed one of the hubcaps was missing. Now a hubcap cost quite a large sum of money in those days and this particular one was part of a limited edition. Just out of Bible College, recently married with a young baby and serving in a new ministry, my spending habits had definitely been put on hold, so to speak.

Realising that it was beyond my means to purchase a new hubcap, I immediately thanked God that He would bring this hubcap back to me. I prayed “Lord there’s nothing concealed that won’t be revealed.” Even though I had no idea where it could be, I prayed that the angels would take me to my hubcap. Mark 11:24 states: “Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” I prayed this over and over and confessed “Thank you Jesus, tha…

Don't Miss The Miraculous

"Don't miss the miraculous looking for the spectacular!"- Dr. Shaun Marler

Hi Partners, Family and Friends,

God gave me the above saying many years ago.  As a pastor, over the years you get to speak with thousands of people.  In listening to their conversations and observing life, I came to the conclusion that many times we miss the miraculous because we are looking for the spectacular.  The miraculous is happening daily around our lives!  Louie Armstrong sang that beautiful song "What A Wonderful World". There are miracles h…
