Be Strong!

"Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” - Deuteronomy 31:6 (NKJV)

Hi Partners, Family and Friends,

Last week, I shared about "casting your cares onto Jesus".  Bringing all your burdens to the Lord and leave them there.  The reason we can do this with confidence, is because of the above verse and other promises like this in the Word of God.  From the above verse, we are told to be strong and courageous, not to fear for the Lord our God, goes with us.  What a promise!  Where you go, He goes.  Where you are, He is!  He promises that "He will never leave you, nor will He forsake you."

Let us pause and meditate this for a minute.  The God, Creator of the universe has promised to be with you, remain with you, go with you and no matter what the circumstance, He said He will never, and that's a guarantee, leave you or forsake you.  I don't know what you are facing today, what crisis has the devil brought your way.  But I do know that you do not have to face it alone and the God who made everything has promised to see you through and be your Saviour.

Because Jesus is your Saviour, I strongly advise that you allow Him to be your Lord.  Let His word have final authority in your life.  Stand and see the salvation of God.  I hope this small teaching and this scripture, inspires you greatly today.

I dare you to allow this word to remain in the front of your mind and heart.  I dare you to believe, that God is for you and not against you.  I dare you to believe that your best is still to come, and that God goes with you and you do not have to be afraid of the future or the trials and tests that you are facing today.

Remember, Jesus is Lord and He has given you the victory in every area of life.  You are more than a conqueror through your Lord Jesus Christ.  He is Saviour and no one saves like Jesus saves.  Call upon Him today and do not be dismayed, do not fear your Saviour is with you!

The Federal Election in Australia has now been called.  It is to be held on the 18th May 2019, Australia needs your prayers today.  Please refer to the scripture below.   If you are not praying for our government and future government, please start now by holding up the coming election in prayer.  Let's believe that the men and women that lead this wonderful nation of ours into the future, will be the ones that God has chosen and destined to lead us at this time.

1 Timothy 2:1-3
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.

If we desire to keep living and enjoying the privileges, values and freedoms that we all have come to enjoy so much, we must obey the scripture and pray.  God promises, that as we hold up all those that be in positions of leadership and authority in the land, then He says, we will live quiet and peaceful lives, enjoying the religious freedoms and godliness that we have in this wonderful nation.  There are countries and nations in the world today that do not have the freedoms we have.  Freedoms that have come at great price and sacrifice of others, in days gone by.  Lets not take these freedoms for granted, but let us keep Australia great, through prayer, in the mighty and wonderful name of Jesus!

Let's continue to ask God to bless Australia, protect Australia and keep her safe for our children and future generations to come.  Let's ask God to give us responsible, good and wise government.  Talk to your representatives, and vote for those you believe will uphold Godly values and represent you and do the best job for you and your family.

We now have a Hindi fellowship commencing every Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm.  Pastor Joseph will be leading this worship meeting.  If you know of any Hindi speaking people, that would like to participate in this service, please contact our office and pastor Joseph and our Hindi team, will be in touch with them.  Don't forget that Living Stone Worship Church meets every Sunday afternoon from 12:30 pm and this is a Samoan service.  World Harvest Ministries and iHarvest Church are attended by people from many different nationalities and cultural backgrounds and I am sure you will feel most welcome and enjoy the fellowship here.
