Election Day! Let's Pray!

"Many of the things you can count, don't count.  Many of the things you can't count, really count." - Albert Einstein

Hi Partners, Family and Friends,

Hope you have all had an amazing week, walking in 'The Blessing of the Lord'!  This week, on Saturday, Australia goes to the polls to elect a government that will represent us for the next three years.  I really like the quote above from Albert Einstein.  So remember, prayers count, the prayers of God's people at this time really count.  Let's continue to pray over the next day and a half until the polls close, that God will give us great government.

2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

1 Timothy 2:1-2 says, "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence."

Here in these scriptures, we are instructed by God to pray for our government and our land.  We are to pray for all men that are in authority and to pray for all people, that God may bless and heal our land and that we can live peaceable lives in godliness.

I dare you to call your local representatives and find out what they believe and will they preserve religious freedom and freedom for us to teach and to share what the word of God says, without reprisal or fear of retribution.  I rang my local representative, and I was very blessed to learn that he is a bible believing Christian, and he assured me that if he was re-elected, he would continue to uphold, family and Christian values.  We need representatives like this who will protect the freedoms that we have all come to love and enjoy in this wonderful country of Australia. We have been blessed with members of parliament that are Christians, and want to protect these freedoms.  It is absolutely vital that the right people get voted into power, so please find out what your representatives value and believe.  Find out if they will up hold the things you uphold and value what you value.  We need representatives that will protect our religious freedoms and the right to express and share what God's word says.

We need God, and God needs us to vote wisely in this election tomorrow.  Let's continue to believe that Australia is the great South land of the Holy Spirit, and let's ask for God's great mercy, love and blessings to be upon this land.

So once again, remember your prayers count right now!  So let's continue to pray and believe for a blessed Australia, righteous government and a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit on this land.

Update.  Next Sunday, 26th May @ 9:30 am, I am pleased to announce that Bunumbirr Marika, an indigenous, Apostolic leader from Arnhem Land, NT, will be ministering.  I met Apostle Bunumbirr last year and we connected in the Spirit and became friends.  He will also be ministering on the Gold Coast and speaking at the ICFM conference the following week.  Please plan to attend our Sunday morning meeting to hear how God is moving through the indigenous communities of northern Australia, and the great vision that God has placed in Bunumbirr's heart for this land.
