Read God's Word, It's Life Changing

Hi Partners, Family and Friends,

Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. ” (Matthew 4:4).

I encourage you to read the bible every day, some of the most successful people on planet earth, say that one of the most powerful things they do is read books.  Books contain knowledge and knowledge is power!  The most powerful book, the most successful book in the entire human race, is the bible.  The bible, God's word is full of life and full of Spirit.

John 6:63 says, "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life."

Jesus said, you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free!  Think about that!  God's truth will make you free in every area of your life.  I dare you, to read 15 minutes of God's word every morning.  Make it just as important as eating your breakfast.

There are so many great books on faith and other topics, that are full of life, revelation and principles from God's word.  You can buy my book on 'Praise Power', it is available on Amazon.  As you practice the principle of praise and praising God's word (declaring positive confessions of faith), you will change your life!  Your circumstances will begin to line up with God's will and blessings for your life. 

My good friend, Pastor Jim Kibler, from Florida, has many titles available on Amazon.  Jim says, that God told him, if you read one of his books each week for two years, you will end up super blessed.  I highly recommend Pastor Jim's books.  Especially the one he wrote on 'The Blessing'.  It is absolutely life changing.  Jim brings out powerful principles from God's word. 

I dare you to make it your daily practice to read the bible and a powerful book that expands principles from God's word.  Do this every morning.  Look up the scriptures found in the book, make your own notes in the margin.  I dare you to have a daily 15 minutes study time each morning from God's word and powerful books on faith. 

Don't forget, ICFM is having it's 35th annual convention on the Gold Coast from May 27th to May 30th and the theme is 'Fire and the Glory'.  This will be a concentrated week of sitting under the glory and feasting on the word of God.  Please find details on the attachment. 

Praise Report!  Pastor Brian has led another two souls to the Lord in the last week.  We are continuing to reach out and soon World Harvest Ministries will be starting another life group or connect group called, 'Kingdom Sisters'.  This group will be held fortnightly and will be an indigenous and island based group.  The ladies want to reach out to women from indigenous and island communities.  Please pray about this, asking God that it will be very fruitful in helping many women.  Further details to come in the next couple of weeks. 

Mother's Day. This Sunday will be Mother's Day.  You are invited to attend our special Mother's Day service where Pastor Cherise Marler will be ministering.  Why not bring your Mum along and then take her to lunch.  Or invite some ladies along and shout them lunch afterward.  Remember it is team work that makes the dream work.

Honour your man of God

“Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.” Romans 13:7 (AMP) The word honour means: to respect, to revere, to treat with deference and submission and perform relevant duties to. Honouring your man of God is vital in the life of every born-again believer. Even as a Senior Pastor, it is a privilege for me to honour the men of God that I consider my spiritual fathers and mentors. They are life coaches to me on my spiritual journey to success, shining examples of excellence in ministry, men to whom I look for advice, prayer, guidance and leadership. THE LAW OF REPETITION

What you hear repeatedly, you will eventually believe. Repetition, our school teachers know this basic law of learning. That’s why when we were at school, we learned many things in our early years by repetition. Someone once said, “You must hear something at least 16 times, before you eventually believe it”. Television commercials are repeated over and over. These are backed up by newspaper, magazine, internet and billboard advertisements. The marketers know we must continually hear and see something before we respond to it.  Romans 10:17 says “ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ”.  It simply takes time to absorb a message.
