Coronvirus Prayer Update

A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. - Psalm 91:7

Hi Partners, Family and Friends,

I hope you have been having a great week and this blog finds you well.  Once again, I wanted to share an uplifting verse from God's Word with you.  The above quote is from Psalm 91.  I have been receiving a lot of positive feedback from my blogs and people are telling me, they are reading Psalm 91 daily.  Remember, I am encouraging you as a family, to also partake of communion regularly.  If you are single and live alone, you can still have communion between you and Jesus.  Communion is about remembering what Christ did on the cross for us, when He died for our sins.  He gave himself willingly as a sacrifice, dying in our place and taking the full force of the curse of the law upon Himself, becoming a curse for us.

The Word tells us that by the stripes Jesus bore, we are healed.  1 Peter 2:24 says, "Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed."

It is so good in these uncertain times, that we can turn to the certainty of God's word.  These pestilences might have caught people unawares, but as I shared last night at the Aboriginal and Island church, they did not catch our God unawares.  He is Jehovah Jireh, the God who has seen ahead and made provision for us.  There is provision at the cross for all our needs, spirit, soul and body, and that is what communion is all about.  It is remembering this fact, that Jesus paid it all for us, so that we could have life and His life more abundantly. 

Isaiah 33:6-8 says, "And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure."  We can see here, from this scripture, that if we seek the Lord in His Word, He by His Spirit, will give us the wisdom and the knowledge we need, to be stable in any time or situation we may face.  It is so good to know that our God, is the Lord God, and He is control. 

Jesus, prophesied 2000 years ago about the signs of the last days.  In Luke 21, He spoke about the great fear that would come on the world in these days!  He told us at the beginning of the chapter (before He listed all of the end-time signs and fearful events) not to be fearful or terrorized.  We are seeing unnecessary panic buying and some people even fighting over toilet paper.  God has promised to provide all our needs.  I filled my car with petrol (it is cheap at the moment) and when I went into pay, just inside the door was two big piles of bulk toilet paper and it was easy to pick some up, purchase it and put it in the back of my car.  I praised the Lord that even in this small things, I saw His goodness and provision.  Toilet paper is just a small thing, but as we all know, very necessary.  As I drove away from that petrol station, I was smiling and thinking to myself, 'who knew they would be selling toilet paper.'  Now, do you see how God can provide?  He even spoke to me, and told me where to go, to get hand gel.   You may say, "Is God, this interested in our lives?"  To which I reply, YES!  God loves everyone.  Call out to the Lord and He will lead you and guide you and bless you, with what you need.  Our God is wonderful!

This is a time, for us as God's people, to rise up in faith and take authority over the spirit behind the coronavirus and tell it to stop!  Command it to cease!  Take authority, in the mighty name of Jesus, and bind its power from spreading.  Yes, it is the last days.  Yes, Jesus told us what they would be like, but He also expects us to take authority over all Satan's power and bind his ability from hurting people.  This virus is not from God.  It is from the enemy of the human race and it comes empowered by Satan, to steal, kill and destroy! (John 10:10), but Jesus has come to give us life and that life more abundantly.  Let us rise up in faith, in the mighty name of Jesus, and start to pray that this coronavirus is arrested, bound and disappears!  It is time for a manifestation of the sons and the daughters of God. 

Your Nation, your family and our World, needs the prayers of the saints right now.  Remember, what we bind on earth is bound in the heavenlies and what we loose on earth is loosed in the heavenlies.  Let's bind this virus's ability to spread and let us release healing to the Nations! 

We are living in the Last Days, and the times of Great Revival.  I have been able to share with 15-20 different people this week alone, about the Rapture and the 2nd coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Family, we have an opportunity to share God's word in these days like never before.  People are looking for answers and they are looking for hope.  The answer for the world today is Jesus; He is the hope of the whole Earth. 

Help us to spread the Word, help me to travel to this Nation and the Nations, by sowing into World Harvest Ministries.  Help us to keep on reaching the poor and needy in India and Africa, especially our orphans that we support.  Don't forget to sow into our prison ministry work.  Your gift, your love offerings to World Harvest, will bring an Eternal Harvest.  Your financial gifts to this ministry empower us to love more, win more, reach more and do more for Jesus!
