THE PRAYER OF FAITH FOR HEALING

Image
James said, The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. This promise was made to the "any" who are sick.     I am excited every time I think of the two all-inclusive words that go hand in hand across the pages of scriptural truth. They are the "whosoever" of salvation and the "any" of divine healing.     These words definitely include you, and everyone else, or I have no understanding of the English language.     Because "any" always includes you, and everyone else, so we should rejoice that healing is for all .     The prayer of faith can never be offered while you are wondering whether or not it is God’s will to do the thing which you are asking Him to do for you.     The real God kind of faith comes by hearing the Word of God, i.e., by hearing God say to you through His Word what He wants to do for you. Praying the prayer of faith is merely asking God to do the thing which He promised to do.

The Need Meeter

Image
John 10:10 10b  I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. My experience has taught me that no man will fully follow Jesus Christ until he settles the issue concerning Jesus’ relationships with his or her need. A person must first come to the realisation that they have needs that they themselves cannot meet. It is not until they reach that point, that they then can become aware of God, who sent His son into the World to identify with their needs, and give them abundant life! I met someone who once said, “ I may be the exception, I don’t have any needs, I grew up healthy, my parents gave me a nice home and everything I needed, they sent me to Uni, I got a good education and scored a great job, I met and married a lovely wife and have beautiful children. I have never had what you may call a critical need”. Ok then I asked, “But how did you come to know Jesus!” Well he said “Even though I was doing well and my bills were paid, I came to a pla

The force of FAITH!

It’s going to take faith to move into any new season of God. It’s going to take faith to move into any new move of the spirit of God. It takes faith to get saved. It takes faith to get born again. It takes faith to get healed. You are saved by faith . You are healed by faith . Faith is not the product of reason. Faith is the product of the recreated spirit. When you got born again, you were born of faith. You were born a believer. Ephesians 2: 8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 1 Peter 1:23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. God has given you a measure of His faith. It is a gift of God, you have been born again of incorruptible seed by the word of God which lives and abides forever. You were born a believer, you were not born a doubter. I encourage you

You will never leave where you are, until you decide where you would rather be.

Intolerance of your present creates your future. Never complain about what you permit, if you don’t like something and its in your power to change it, change it. Remember, we have already learned that it won’t change, until you change it . The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine. The problem that infuriates you the most could be the problem God has called you to solve. This could be a key to your assignment in life, what you are here for, your significance, can be found in the problems you solve for others. Never discuss your problems with someone incapable of solving it. And you cannot correct or change what you are unwilling to confront. Start with you! Confront those attitudes that have been keeping you down, preventing you from becoming all that you were destined to be. Remember, there is a champion in you, waiting for the chance to become all you were destined to become. Habit is a powerful force. The force of habit. It can be your friend or it

NOTHING CHANGES UNTIL YOU CHANGE IT – P2

Image
Nothing changes until you change it. My daughter told me, ‘Dad if you change your life and ministry just 1% per week, you will make a 52% change each year’. Wow, if you want something you have never had, you must do something you have never done. Even if it’s only 1% a week, you will change your course 52% in the coming year. A 1 % change per week, in your eating habits, a 1% change per week in your study habits, or your saving habits or any life habit for that matter, will result in a 52% change in the first year alone. These little changes can be the key to your success. Make the small changes that are in your power to do so, and sooner or later you will start to experience the kind of results you have only dreamed about. Remember, “The hand of the diligent, gains wealth” (Proverbs 10:4). Nothing changes until you change it. ‘What you can tolerate you cannot change’ . You will never conquer what you refuse to hate. Giving is proof that you have conquered greed.  Champi

Nothing changes until you change it

This is my personal assistants favourite saying. Sometimes we are waiting for things to change, but remember a definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect a different result. I always like to say “If you want something you have never had, you must be prepared to do something you have never done“. Some things are out of our hands and we can’t change them, but there are many things we can change if we try. It’s the little things that can make a big difference in the long run. A little change in attitude here, or a slight adjustment there, and sooner or later we start to see the difference. They tell me it takes about 10 kilometers to turn around one of the large ocean going freighters out at sea. These super tankers take up to 14 kilometers to stop when thrown from full forward to full reverse. So you see your life, work, attitude or ministry may have been traveling in one direction for a while. You may think it impossible, for you to change. You may b

THE LAW OF REPETITION

Image
What you hear repeatedly, you will eventually believe. Repetition, our school teachers know this basic law of learning. That’s why when we were at school, we learned many things in our early years by repetition. Someone once said, “You must hear something at least 16 times, before you eventually believe it”. Television commercials are repeated over and over. These are backed up by newspaper, magazine, internet and billboard advertisements. The marketers know we must continually hear and see something before we respond to it.  Romans 10:17 says “ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ”.  It simply takes time to absorb a message. Great achievers understand the necessity for their team and those following them, to hear instructions, teaching and training, again and again, before they fully grasp new concepts.  Do not expect those around you and those with whom you network, to understand everything instantly. You are a result of a process, y

YOUR SEED IS A PHOTOGRAPH OF YOUR FAITH

Image
You will be ruled by either faith or by feelings. Feelings cannot receive from God. It’s faith that receives from God. When we read the gospels, many times we will see Jesus saying “According to your faith be it unto you”. We need to have faith in seed. Your seed is the only influence you have over your future. Your seed is a photograph of your faith . What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you. While I preach the gospel, I am sending forth the word, a light shining into the dark corners of a person’s heart. This light exposes deeds and idols, this light (word) challenges attitudes, deeds, motives and actions. God is saying to us “before I can paint the corners of your heart with my spirit, these hidden things need to be repented of and removed”. God is renovating our hearts, he wants to renovate, renew and refresh. God lives in us and we are His temple 1 Corinthians 3:6 “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase” . He has a right to

You do the SOWING – God does the GROWING

Mark 4:26-27 26And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. Here we see that the kingdom of God is just like casting seed into the ground. We cast our seed into the ground and God does the GROWING . The productivity of the seed is not determined by the seed itself. It is determined by the ground. The ground must be prepared. In order to produce one hundred fold, we must allow God by His spirit to prepare the ground of our heart. It’s prepared ground that receives the seed and brings forth one hundred fold return. When we sow our seed into other places, we must look to make sure that we are sowing into good ground. Seed will yield different levels of increase in direct relation to the quality of the ground into which it is sown. Mark 4:16-20 16And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, im
