A Fulfilled Life Part 1!

Image
Dear Partner, Family and Friends, Happiness is not a goal. It’s a by-product of a fulfilled life.  - Dr. Shaun Marler Everybody desires to live a fulfilled life .  As I have shared previously in other blogs, success is not a destination, it is a journey.  As we journey through life, it is God's will that we enjoy our life. In the beginning, when God created us, He created everything good, and it was His desire that we live long, purposeful and fulfilled lives.  God has never changed His mind about that and that is the very reason why He sent Jesus.  Jesus came and paid the price to purchase us or redeem us, so that we could be restored back to God's original plan and intentions for our lives.   Jeremiah 29:11-12 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you." Today I want to share with you some keys

No Greater Love

Image
Dear Partner, Family and Friends, Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.  - John 15:13 Recently, we celebrated Jewish Passover, our Easter.  Now, this weekend we remember the ANZACs  and those that have given their lives for their countries to purchase freedom and liberty that we have all come to enjoy.   As I reflect on these special days and the memorial services that are held in honour of those that have given their lives for us, I am reminded of the above scripture.  No greater love can anyone have than to give up their life for their friends, family and country.   It is the ultimate sacrifice.   In the ultimate act of love, two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ went to the cross to die for us.  The bible says in  Romans 5:6-10 , "You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.

Let It Rain!

D ear Partners, Family, Friends, Rain just doesn't fall, it is gravity that pulls it down . - Charlotte Thom Zechariah 10:1 says, "Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain.  The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone." I always remember, many years ago, when Charlotte Thom visited our church and spoke on the presence of God and the last great outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  God had spoken to Charlotte and He dropped this revelation into her spirit (I like to say, "A revelation is a kiss from God").  God has kissed Charlotte with this awesome revelation that rain just doesn't fall but the gravity of the earth pulls it down.  In the same way, she went on to explain, that it is the hunger in our hearts that draws the presence of God to us.   James 4:8 says, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you dou

Success is a Journey

Image
Dear Partners, family and friends, Success is a journey, not a destination. - John Maxwell Success has a price. You have to be willing to pay the price for success.  You must be determined to pay the price in order to succeed.  Success involves serving; it involves loving others.   You will never be a success in God's eyes, if you don't love others.  You will never be a success, a true success, if you don't learn to serve and keep serving.   Jesus said, "If you want to be great in God's Kingdom, you have to be a servant of all."   There is a price to servanthood that we must pay, if we want to win.  It involves delayed gratification, because we get out of life exactly what we put into it.  It is the law of sowing and reaping.   Our mind, or the field of our mind, works the same way as a field in our world.  A farmer must weed his ground.  He must plough his ground. He must prepare the soil to receive the seed!  Then he must seed his land, wi

He Died to Give You Life

Dear Partners, family and friends,  It wasn't the nails that held Jesus to the cross. It was his love for you. - Dr. Shaun Marler If a person you know was to lay down their life and die, so you could be saved, would you say that person loves you? If a person who you don’t know, was to give up their only son to die for you, to save you.  Would you call that love? God has done that for you!   In a true act of love, God the Father sent His only Son, Jesus, into the world. Jesus came to save this world (us) from our sins, so that we could receive the greatest gift of love, ever given. Sin and unbelief has separated us from God and has stopped us from experiencing & enjoying this great love.  But God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world, through Jesus, should be saved. God’s love was demonstrated by giving Christ His Son, to die on the cross of Calvary, so we all can live forever. All we have to do is receive Him into our l
