A Fulfilled Life Part 1!

Dear Partner, Family and Friends,

Happiness is not a goal. It’s a by-product of a fulfilled life.  - Dr. Shaun Marler

Everybody desires to live a fulfilled life.  As I have shared previously in other blogs, success is not a destination, it is a journey.  As we journey through life, it is God's will that we enjoy our life. In the beginning, when God created us, He created everything good, and it was His desire that we live long, purposeful and fulfilled lives.  God has never changed His mind about that and that is the very reason why He sent Jesus.  Jesus came and paid the price to purchase us or redeem us, so that we could be restored back to God's original plan and intentions for our lives.

Jeremiah 29:11-12 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you."

Today I want to share with you some keys to help you live and unlock the blessings of God, in order to help you live a fulfilled life.

These keys come from the Lord and are presented to us in the book of Philippians.

A fulfilled life celebrates God!  The bible tells us in the book of Philippians 4:4, "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"

From this verse of scripture, the number one key to living a fulfilled life is in celebrating Jesus.  As we celebrate God and seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, putting God first place in our life, this positions us to live the fulfilled life.  An attitude of gratitude is one of the number one keys to victory in life.

I dare you today, regardless of your circumstances, to rejoice in the Lord and to keep on rejoicing for His goodness and wonderful works that He has done for us.  Thank Him for all the wonderful blessings He has bestowed upon us.

A fulfilled life adds value to people.  It says in Philippians 4: 5, "Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is at hand."

Jesus told us to love God with all of our hearts and to love others as we love ourselves.  To love others is to serve others.  To love other people is to care for other people.  To be concerned about their welfare and to add value where possible to their lives.

No greater value can we add to a person's life than to share God's love with them.  To care for them and serve them, being extensions of Jesus's love to them.  To be so concerned for them that we pray and reach out to them with the love and the goodness of God, being concerned for not only their welfare now, but their eternal welfare.

The fulfilled life has the ability to cast its cares upon the Lord. In Philippians 4:6 it says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

God loves you. God cares for you and He has provided blessings, breakthrough and victory for every area of your life.  He wants you to live a fulfilled life, not weighed down by the cares and worries you face.  In 1 Peter 5:7 it says, "casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you."

I dare you to cast your cares upon the Lord and let Him do the caring for you!  Keep your eyes on the answer!  Focus on the victory!

A fulfilled life experiences God's wholeness.  Philippians 4:7 says, "and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

God wants you whole, spirit, soul and body.  As you learn to rejoice in the Lord and keep on rejoicing, regardless of the circumstances and learn to cast your cares upon Him, focusing on the answer found in His word, His peace that surpasses all natural understanding will keep your hearts and minds at rest.  You will have a quietness and assurance that all will be well.

In this day and age of stress, anxiety and mental illness, God wants to fulfil your whole mind and your whole body with His peace.  God loves you and He desires that you live in His rest and peace.  Jesus said, "in the world you will have tribulation, test and trials, but in Me you will have peace."  He went to say, "Peace I leave you with and My peace I give to you."  Jesus has made it possible for us to live in the peace of God.

God bless and much love,

Ps. Shaun Marler
