Prayer Stops Plagues
Dear Partners, family and friends, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 The bible says in Hebrews 8:6 that we have a "better covenant " than the Israelites had. Many times when the Israelites were facing destruction, plagues or unbeatable odds, they would cry unto the Lord and He would save them and deliver them from their distresses. If God can protect them, He can surely protect us as well. God repeatedly saved His people out of disaster. He can save you too. 1 Chronicles 21:14-16 says, "So the Lord sent a plague on Israel, and seventy thousand men of Israel fell dead. 15 And God sent an angel to destroy Jerusalem. But as the angel was doing so, the Lord saw it and relented concerning the disaster and said to the angel who was destroying the people, “Enough
