Communion/Partnership

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. - 2 Corinthians 13:14 KJV
Hi Partners, Family and Friends,


Hope you are having a great week and if you live in the Southern Hemisphere, you are enjoying this new season of Spring!  Here in Brisbane, Spring definitely has sprung, the flowers are                                                           blooming, the birds are singing and we are starting to feel that warm Australian sun already.  Beach, here we come!  It is a great time of the year down here, in the land down-under, that is going over in Jesus. 

The Bible says, we are more than conquerors, over-comers through Him who loves us.  From the above verse we can see how powerful our relationship is with God and here it states the communion of the Holy Spirit is to be with us all.  This word communion in the Greek, is the word 'koinōnia'.  It means 'partnership', and it is a participation together in life with the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is our Helper, He is your Partner in life and ministry.  He participates with us.  We are not in this alone.  You do not have to face life alone.

I dare you to become more aware of the Holy Spirit's presence in your life.  If you are born again, He is with you 24/7, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year.  But are you aware of His presence?         

Many years ago, Benny Hinn wrote a book called 'Good Morning Holy Spirit'.  Benny Hinn's life and ministry was greatly affected by the life and ministry of Kathryn Kuhlman.  Kathryn placed great emphasis on the presence and person of the Holy Spirit.  As did Oral Roberts and T L Osborne.  Benny Hinn has learnt the secret of having an intimate and personnel relationship with the Holy Spirit.

I dare you to get to know the Holy Spirit in a more personal and intimate way.  Talk to Him!  Remember He is your Leader, that makes Him Your boss.  He is here to participate, partner with us in life and ministry. 

This week, as I have ministered, I have seen God, by the power of the Holy Spirit and in the Name of Jesus, heal people's bodies, setting them free.

I am pleased to report that the Papua New Guinea Prayer and Repentance Day that we hosted in our church went very well.  My trip to the Gold Coast to minister was also fruitful and lives were touched and encouraged. On Tuesday evening this week we had Ps. Paul Sarchet-Waller from Hong Kong share at our Prayer Meeting, and we all prayed for peace, prosperity and an end to the conflict taking place in Hong Kong.  That God would bring peace and understanding to all.  We had a great night of fellowship, prayer and the Word.  Pastor Paul also ministered on purpose and destiny.

This Sunday morning we are having a communion service, followed by a fundraising sausage sizzle for lunch!  Love to see you all there.

One last thing, we are half way through construction of the new toilet facilities in the Kenya orphanage.  Please pray about sowing a generous seed to help us finish construction for the seventy plus orphans at this school there.

Honour your man of God

“Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.” Romans 13:7 (AMP) The word honour means: to respect, to revere, to treat with deference and submission and perform relevant duties to. Honouring your man of God is vital in the life of every born-again believer. Even as a Senior Pastor, it is a privilege for me to honour the men of God that I consider my spiritual fathers and mentors. They are life coaches to me on my spiritual journey to success, shining examples of excellence in ministry, men to whom I look for advice, prayer, guidance and leadership. THE LAW OF REPETITION

What you hear repeatedly, you will eventually believe. Repetition, our school teachers know this basic law of learning. That’s why when we were at school, we learned many things in our early years by repetition. Someone once said, “You must hear something at least 16 times, before you eventually believe it”. Television commercials are repeated over and over. These are backed up by newspaper, magazine, internet and billboard advertisements. The marketers know we must continually hear and see something before we respond to it.  Romans 10:17 says “ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ”.  It simply takes time to absorb a message.
