If you want something you have never had, you have to do something you have never done!

Now think about that again. A definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect a different result. How much do you want success in life? Enough to change what you are saying or enough to change what you are doing or enough to change what you are focusing your attention on? You have to act on God’s Word even when everything is telling you it won’t work. If you want it that much, the Word of God guarantees you will find success in life. The Word, or bible, tells us that God’s success is good success. There are two kinds of success, good success that brings happiness with it, and the kind that brings sorrow. Too many people have succeeded at the expense of their health or family or relationships. That’s not what God wants, He says in Proverbs 10:22 “ The blessing of the Lord makes one rich! And He adds no sorrow with it. ” Now that’s the kind we want! The word “blessing”, used here is a Hebrew word for prosperity! The word, “rich” used here, means to grow rich or, ...

Faith

Charles Spurgeon said, “A little faith will bring your soul to heaven; A great faith will bring heaven to your soul.” Faith is more than mental assent; faith believes what the Word says even though sight and feelings may be saying something different. One of the greatest enemies of real faith is a thing called, “mental assent”. People who act in mental assent say they believe the Word, but when the pressure is on, they go to pieces and start speaking fear and unbelief. You can tell if they really believe the Word or not, by what is coming out of their mouth. If they’re questioning God’s love, His ability or just plain speaking the opposite to what God says, then you know they were in mental assent and not faith. When you are in faith, regardless of the circumstances, your heart is fixed trusting in the Lord. Philippians 4:7 says, “ And the peace of God that passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus .” People in mental assent just plain don’t act on the ...
