Being Steadfast In Troubled Times

The steadfast love of the Lord is not seasonal; His Mercies do not have winter or summer days. - Taken from Lamentations 3:22-23.

Hi Partners, Family and Friends,

In these uncertain times, we can be certain of the steadfast love of the Lord.  God's steadfast love never ceases and as the above scripture says, it never comes to an end.  In fact, His steadfast love and His great mercy is new every morning.  The scripture goes on to say that "great is His faithfulness!" 

We are hearing daily updates on the latest pestilence to come on the earth, COVID-19 (Coronavirus).  The governments of the world are doing their best to stop the spread of this pandemic.  As I have said over my last few blogs, we need to listen to our health authorities and advice coming from the governments, doing all we can in the natural, to combat this virus.  In addition to these physical measures of social distancing, no handshakes and no gatherings of more than 100 people (current government advice), we The Church can Pray!  Remember, we have authority over all power of the enemy to stop this Coronavirus and the spiritual forces of darkness behind it.  This authority is in The Powerful Name of Jesus! 

In John 10:10, the word of God tells us, "The enemy (thief) comes to steal, to kill and destroy."  This Coronavirus is doing just that!  So we can easily see it is an enemy and a thief to the human race.  Jesus said, "That He has come to give us life and that life more abundantly."  It is easy to determine where the source of this virus is from; it is from the kingdom of darkness.  It is robbing people of their peace, robbing people of their health, and trying to destroy their finances, and in some cases people are dying and losing their lives. 

Church, as I said in my blog on the 10th of February, we must rise up together in prayer across the Nations and pray.  Taking authority over this invisible enemy, breaking its power and commanding it to halt in its tracks, die and disappear from the Nations.  Right now, if the nations ever needed the prayers of the Saints, it is NOW!  Go back and read my last couple of blogs, in them I started to expand on Psalm 91.  You need to be speaking Psalm 91 over your own life and the life of your family and loved ones.  Remember to regularly take communion and thank God for the blood of Jesus that covers our lives as believers. 

This blog goes out to many Nations and I am asking and calling on prayer warriors and intercessors, to continue to declare that this virus and the spirit of infirmity that empowers it, is destroyed and bound in The Name of Jesus.  Yes family, these are the last days and we are in The Midnight Hour that Jesus spoke of, before His return.  Jesus also encouraged us to have great faith and confidence in these times.  His wisdom and His knowledge will protect and bless your life, as you apply His Word.  His steadfast love for you and your family never ceases.  Remember, God so loved the whole earth that He gave His one and only Son (Jesus) to die on the cross for you so that you can be saved and healed.  Family, these are the times of great revival; these are the times when the Nations need to hear about the steadfast love of the Lord which is not seasonal.  His love is constant!  He gave us instruction in Matthew 18:18, “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." 

We the church are here as the restraining force, to bind, restrain and stop the forces of darkness and the power of the Antichrist from spreading around the world.  We God's people are here to take the light and the glory of God into the Nations and spread the Good News of the gospel into the entire world.  Jesus said, "He would not return until His word and His message of love and blessing, the good news, have gone into all the world for a witness", a witness to the fact that God loves you and He has a plan and a purpose for your life.  God is good, He is not the author of confusion, He is the Blesser, who loves people with an unending and unceasing love.

We have been praying for you and we have been praying for our Nation and our city of Brisbane.  Let's pray that our scientists get an effective vaccine or treatment for this virus to help the elderly and anyone that has been affected by it.  I was reading an article, that already Australian researchers, in our City of Brisbane have made positive developments and have found a possible 'cure' for Coronavirus.  The article went on to say, they are going to start a nation-wide trial by the end of the month.  The University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Research Director, Professor David Patterson said, "They have seen two drugs used to treat other conditions, wipe out the virus in test tubes."  Let's pray for these scientists to get all the help they need and for God to give them the wisdom they need to develop a cure in combatting this virus.  I have read other articles where other scientists and health researchers around the world, are also working around the clock to find suitable vaccines and treatments for this virus. 

Remember, all healing comes from God and I believe that God has the answer to this latest crisis the world is facing.  So once again, let us rise in prayer together, in the Mighty Name of Jesus and speak healing and breakthrough over our Nations.  Be sure to stay in contact and look out for each other, you can do this through text, phone, social media and other means of communication.  If you need to talk to someone, you can email our office or call our office, and we will speak with you, pray for you and encourage you in these times.
