Harvest Update




Hi family, friends and partners,

Hope you have had a great week and you are all planning on finding yourself in your local church this week.  I myself, will be sharing a continuing message on the God of Restoration and how there is so much more for us to enjoy as believers.  Jesus Christ paid a huge price, with the sacrifice of His own life on the cross of Calvary.  You are, we are, the seed of Abraham (Gal 3:29) through Jesus Christ.  Therefore, Abraham's blessing is provided for us all to claim and enjoy.  God told Abraham in Genesis:

The Lord’s Covenant With Abram:
Genesis 15:1 says, After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.”

Imagine this;  God is our shield and our exceeding great reward!  This is ours now, through Jesus Christ and the covenant that we now have with God. The same promise God made to Abraham He makes to you.  Remember, God is a promise keeping God.  We need to embrace this, believe this and receive this and allow the Holy Spirit to birth this revelation in our hearts.

In Psalm 5:12 it says,  Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

God is encamping us around with FAVOUR as a shield and this favour is exceedingly great! 

Ps. Brian and Judy are on their way to Rockhampton, Ps. Brian has been invited to share in the prison ministry there.  He and Judy will also be ministering in home groups, outreaches and churches along the way.  We are believing for great fruit and souls to be won for the Kingdom of God, during this next 2 to 3 weeks of traveling outreach. Please keep Ps. Brian and Judy in your prayers. 

I have just picked up the first 5,000 tracts that we plan to start to letter box drop, spiralling out from our church.  Please pray that these tracts will be read with open hearts and open ears and people will find God and come to know Him in a very personal way.  If you have any prayer requests, please do not hesitate to send them in.  On that note, please join with us in prayer for our farmers. Once again, outback QLD and northern NSW are in the grip of drought.  But we know we can pray for rain!  We are praying for rain for these areas in all our services.  I am going to ask that this coming Tuesday, if you can join with us in a day of prayer and fasting for rain.  I believe, that as we pray and fast together and uphold our farmers before the Lord in this desperate hour of need, our heavenly Father will hear our prayers, as we turn our hearts back to Him and ask Him to send this much needed, life giving, drought breaking rain.

Honour your man of God

“Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.” Romans 13:7 (AMP) The word honour means: to respect, to revere, to treat with deference and submission and perform relevant duties to. Honouring your man of God is vital in the life of every born-again believer. Even as a Senior Pastor, it is a privilege for me to honour the men of God that I consider my spiritual fathers and mentors. They are life coaches to me on my spiritual journey to success, shining examples of excellence in ministry, men to whom I look for advice, prayer, guidance and leadership. The importance of a man such as this cannot be overstated. Many of us would not be saved from the wrath to come, had it not been for the assistance, support and intervention of our Pastors. THE LAW OF REPETITION

What you hear repeatedly, you will eventually believe. Repetition, our school teachers know this basic law of learning. That’s why when we were at school, we learned many things in our early years by repetition. Someone once said, “You must hear something at least 16 times, before you eventually believe it”. Television commercials are repeated over and over. These are backed up by newspaper, magazine, internet and billboard advertisements. The marketers know we must continually hear and see something before we respond to it.  Romans 10:17 says “ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ”.  It simply takes time to absorb a message.
