Love Reflections

"It wasn't the nails that held Jesus to the cross, it was His love for you"  Dr. Shaun Marler

Hi Partners, Family and Friends,

I think it is good to stop and reflect for awhile on the great love that God has for our lives.  In our busy world and the demands that it puts upon our time and our lives, it is easy to get caught up in the noise of it all.  Let us meditate for awhile how much God loves us.  As we go about our day to day lives, let us be conscious of those around us who may not yet know Jesus.  Jesus Christ paid an amazing price for us to have and to receive God's love.  It was not those nails that held our Saviour to the cross that day, He hung there for you and me because He loves us and refuses to spend Eternity without you. 

God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world (people that don't yet know Him) should be saved. God's love was demonstrated through the gift of His Son.  We should be forever grateful that Jesus was willing to die for us on the cross of Calvary.  Jesus had all the angels at His command, as the Lord of hosts.  He commanded, and to this day commands, the angelic hosts and armies of heaven.  At any time, He could have called upon His Father and multitudes of angels in full armour, would have came to His aid, delivering Him and annihilating any and every force against Him.  It was His willingness, His great love that kept Him on course to pay the price, of the supreme sacrifice of His very life for us.

This gift of love is for everyone. There has never been, and never will be, a more precious gift for a person to receive, than the gift of life through Jesus Christ.  God is the first person to ever care about you and He cares about you more deeply than anyone else ever could.  God believes in you and has a special plan for your life.  I call this God's love plan!  He wants to give your life meaning and purpose.  He has a plan, a destiny for you to fulfill, that only you alone can do best because you are special in His eyes.  That, my friend, gives us all a cause to celebrate and be thankful and express words of gratitude to this wonderful, giving Lord and Saviour, Jesus.

I dare you, to stop right now and to declare with a grateful heart 10 times, how wonderful Jesus is to your life, thanking Him that He went to the cross, paid the price and gave you everlasting life.  I dare you to say out loud, "THANK YOU FATHER, THAT YOU LOVE ME AND YOU PROVED THIS TO ME BY SENDING JESUS CHRIST TO DIE FOR ME."  We can never thank Jesus enough.  We can never praise Jesus too much.  I encourage you to start your day by thanking God for His love for you, and praising Him for this goodness.

Praise Report!  Just before Christmas, I taught on 'The Blessing of Abraham'.  At the end of the service, I had everybody stand and come to the front.  I then commenced to pray the High Priestly Blessing on all present, releasing 'The Blessing of Abraham' into their lives, in the mighty name of Jesus.  June, an older member of our church was there that day, she had a large growing lump on her leg.  June had been to her doctor, who had informed her that his lump was cancerous and needed to be surgically removed.  He wanted her to come back the next day for surgery.  June was going on a weeks holiday and asked him could she have the operation after her holiday.  The doctor replied, "Yes, but I want to see you straight back in this surgery the day after you get back."  June took her weeks holiday, arrived home Saturday and had scheduled the doctor's appointment for Monday.  On Sunday morning, June was one of the people that came out the front and stood to receive 'The Blessing'.  That night she went home and awoke from sleep Monday morning to find the cancerous lump completely gone.  There was just one little dot, like a pimple where it had been. 

The doctor, asked her where the lump went, because he could not explain or understand its disappearance.  He told June, that he did not have to remove the small dot but he would like to, because he wanted to send it away for tests.  The lump had gone and in its place was one tiny small dot.  June said, "Ok, you can remove it and send it away for tests."  In herself, she knew that it was not necessary, but as it was so small, she thought, let him test it and find it is all fine. 

Well, when the tests came back, June went in to see her Doctor, who told her the tissue sample he had taken was completely clear of cancer and all healthy flesh. 

Our God is a healer God and He still heals today!  Why not contact us for prayer?  Or if you can come to one of our services to receive healing in Jesus name!

Good Report!  I am mentoring some young people in the ministry and this week, one young man who is in training to be a pastor, has told me he wants to join our prison ministry team under Pastor Brian Hicks.  Pastor Brian is coming back each week, from the prisons with testimonies of the saving and transforming power of Jesus Christ.  It is so good, that our team is growing by yet another member.  If you want to sow into prison ministry just mark your offerings for prison ministry.  Your prayers and support are vital and you are helping us change lives through your love gifts.

Events Report!  This week we have the privilege of having Pastor Col Stringer, come and minister the life changing word of God to us.  Col is the author of many books on faith and other subjects and is a specialist in Australia's historical involvement in the liberation of Israel and the Light Horse brigade, having researched and written much on the topic. He is an entertaining, faith inspiring speaker and delivers the word in a humorous yet practical way.  You will be blessed and inspired by Ps. Col. 

Mark 9:23 says, "Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Hebrews 11:6 says,  "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

Thank you for helping us send the life changing message of Jesus Christ to our nation and the nations.  The bible says, as a man sows, so shall he reap!  Your offerings and love seed gifts are empowering us to reach others with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
