The Fast Way to Power Part 2

HOW TO EXPERIENCE AND MAINTAIN PERSONAL REVIVAL

1.    Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any unconfessed sin in your life.
2.    Seek forgiveness from all whom you have offended, and forgive all who have hurt you.  Make restitution where God leads.
3.    Examine your motives in every word and deed.  Ask the Lord to search and cleanse your heart daily.
4.    Ask the Holy Spirit to guard your walk against complacency and mediocrity.
5.    Praise and give thanks to God continually in all ways on all days, regardless of your circumstances.
6.    Refuse to obey your carnal (worldly) nature (Galatians 5:16,17).
7.    Surrender your life to Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord.  Develop utter dependence on Him with total submission and humility.
8.    Study the attributes of God.
9.    Hunger and thirst after righteousness (Matthew 5:6).
10.    Love God with all of your heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37).
11.    Appropriate the continual fullness and control of the Holy Spirit by faith on the basis of God’s command (Ephesians 5:18) and promise (1 John 5:14,15).
12.    Read, study, meditate on, and memorize God’s holy, inspired infallible Word daily (Colossians 3:16).
13.    Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
14.  Pray and sing in the Spirit (tongues) (Eph 5:18).
15.    Fast and pray one 24-hour period each week.
16.    Seek to share Christ daily as a way of life, give out tracts.
17.    Determine to live a holy, Godly life of obedience and faith.
18.    Start or join a home or Cell Group; Bible study group that emphasises revival and a holy life.
19.    Join a local church, submitting to the eldership and their vision, as led by the Spirit.
20.    Be faithful – in study of the Word, in prayer, in witnessing, in tithing and giving, in church attendance.
21.    Be a doer of the Word and not just a hearer, only deceiving your own self (James 1:22).

Remember, "God wants to do something in you, so He can do something through you."

I dare you to read these above points.  I dare you to join with me in regular fasting, praying always with all prayer in the Spirit, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart. Let's together press in, by seeking first the Lord and His will for our lives personally.  Let's press in together to see His Kingdom come and His will done on earth as it is in heaven.

Honour your man of God

“Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.” Romans 13:7 (AMP) The word honour means: to respect, to revere, to treat with deference and submission and perform relevant duties to. Honouring your man of God is vital in the life of every born-again believer. THE LAW OF REPETITION

What you hear repeatedly, you will eventually believe. Repetition, our school teachers know this basic law of learning. That’s why when we were at school, we learned many things in our early years by repetition. Someone once said, “You must hear something at least 16 times, before you eventually believe it”. Television commercials are repeated over and over. These are backed up by newspaper, magazine, internet and billboard advertisements. The marketers know we must continually hear and see something before we respond to it.  Romans 10:17 says “ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ”.  It simply takes time to absorb a message.
