The Blessing Cup
Dear Partner, Family and Friends, “The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?.” - 1 Corinthians 10:16 Communion is all about remembering Jesus , how He partook of our sins, becoming sin for us and taking our sicknesses in His own body as He died for us on the Cross of Calvary. Jesus became sin for us, partook of this so that we could partake of His righteousness, being made righteousness because He became or was made, sin. Jesus took the full curse of the law that was due us for our sins and rebellion against God. His blood was shed to cleanse us and to make the way for us to enter into covenant with God. This covenant we have with God is a blood covenant. It is sealed with God’s blood, divine blood, innocent and holy blood. Through this blood (Christ shed blood) we enter into, and have access to, the full covenant of Abraham and all its blessings. Communion is one
