The Life of an Overcomer!

Dear Partners, Family & Friends, 

We learn from Joseph's life that being in the right place & having special favour, doesn't necessarily mean you won't go through challenging times or hardship. Ps. Brian Hicks is one whose life speaks of a true testament to that of being more than a conqueror!

For a righteous man may fall seven times
And rise again. Proverbs 24:16

"I get knocked down, but I get up again!"

Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:19

Through cancer, leukemia and other trials, Ps. Brian has had more than his fair share of afflictions in days gone by and the Lord has been faithful to deliver him out of them ALL!!!

Ps. Brian is a strong pillar in the Kingdom! He teaches the Word of God from a wealth of knowledge and revelation. He has a deep understanding of the Father's never-failing love. Goodness & Mercy have followed Ps. Brian through years of ministering the gospel on the highways and byways, to the one and to the many both Australia wide and internationally!

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14

It is a true honour to have Ps. Brian minister to us this coming Sunday at Fire Church Brisbane.

Honour your man of God

“Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.” Romans 13:7 (AMP) The word honour means: to respect, to revere, to treat with deference and submission and perform relevant duties to. Honouring your man of God is vital in the life of every born-again believer. What you hear repeatedly, you will eventually believe. Repetition, our school teachers know this basic law of learning. That’s why when we were at school, we learned many things in our early years by repetition. Someone once said, “You must hear something at least 16 times, before you eventually believe it”. Television commercials are repeated over and over. These are backed up by newspaper, magazine, internet and billboard advertisements. The marketers know we must continually hear and see something before we respond to it.  Romans 10:17 says “ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ”.  It simply takes time to absorb a message.
