Harvest Time!

Dear Partners, Friends & Family, 

"And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." Luke 14:23 

As we approach the middle of this year, I thought I would update you on some of the work of World Harvest Ministries & our teams from iHarvest Church.

This has been a year of great change in our world, our nation and communities. As I have spoken with my peers in various ministries and church organisations, I see that here also there has been many changes. We are in changing times.  We have a new Pope. Pope Leo the 14th, the first American Pope. President Donald Trump has been re-elected as you are all aware, is now leading America into a golden prosperous age in his historic second term. In our own nation, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, has won a second term in office with an increased majority. For the first time ever, the world soccer football grand final will be held in America this year. 

These are just a few major shifts and changes in our world. At the same time, there are many changes taking place in the Body of Christ, God's Church on the earth. There is a new awakening to righteousness, and a re-evaluation of priorities as God calls His Church to prayer and repentance worldwide. 

These are definitely changing times and seasons. We see revival breaking out in many nations of the earth and thousands of young people, especially young people, are making a re-commitment to a deeper spiritual life.

Jesus is building His Church, and we His people must build His Kingdom. In the Lord's prayer, Jesus instructs us to pray "Father, let Your Kingdom come, let Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven". Family, it is 'Harvest Time' and I believe we are living in the last days before Jesus comes, to bring His family home. Let us find ourselves in prayer, on our knees, seeking first His Kingdom and surrendering ourselves to do His will and purpose with our lives. We need to see the great prophesied revival that God has promised Australia and surrounding Island Nations. These 'Great South Lands of The Holy Spirit', must see the revival fire of God to bring precious souls, Aussies and their families into the Kingdom. 

I have seen in visions and dreams, spot fires of God's glory and Spirit moving in different places all over this land. God has told me to go and breathe by His Spirit upon these fires, and He said as you go, I will go with you and I will move upon the hungry & thirsty hearts of my people who are calling, praying and crying for revival to sweep this land. I am not the only one, but I know that I am one that has been called to do this. 

Won't you join me in prayer and purpose to see God's Kingdom and a great outpouring of The Holy Spirit established in this land?  You will find details at the bottom of this email on how to become a partner with World Harvest Ministries in this adventure in God. Family, in Psalm 41:1 it says, "Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble." and then in Proverbs 19:17 it says, "Whoever is generous to the poor, lends to the Lord and He will repay him for his deed."  As people know, who have followed this ministry for any length of time, we have always and are continuing to, support missions. Currently, we are still supporting missions in India and Africa. In addition to this, through our Harvest Food Assist ministry, we have been caring for people in our own backyard that have been doing it extremely tough in these current economic conditions. 



For the last few years, we have been working closely with Ps. Oscar Micari from New Hope Care in Alderley. Currently, each week we are leading 40-50 souls to the Lord in the Greater Brisbane, Ipswich & Greater Moreton Bay Region. 

We have been going into the highways & byways, city parks, beach fronts, and other areas ministering to the homeless as well as other families that are finding it very difficult to make ends meet. One gentleman recently shared with me, that there are 8 vulnerable women for every man that is homeless or living in temporary places. Some are sleeping in their cars or makeshift tents and lean-to's in parks. We are working with churches on Russell Island, Caboolture, Ipswich, Redcliffe, and the inner city. We are excited as we are about to launch a new out-reach in Coolum on the Sunshine Coast. 
 


People who are doing it tough are invited to come to receive a free, 3 course meal. They also get to fellowship with other people in similar circumstances and receive ministry from the volunteers and visiting ministers from the church organisations involved. We also share an uplifting salvation message from the Bible based on God's love and we offer prayer to give them hope and expectation of a better future. 

       

As God provides, non-perishable food items are distributed, along with clothes. As we head into the colder months, blankets, pillows and other items that are of necessity are also donated. I have raised up a small team of soul winners that are on a roster to work with Pastor Oscar and his teams to show these people the practical love of God. We don't receive any offerings of finances to do this work, except from people like yourselves whom God touches their hearts to partner with our ministry and sow finances into this much needed work.

Honour your man of God

“Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.” Romans 13:7 (AMP) The word honour means: to respect, to revere, to treat with deference and submission and perform relevant duties to. Honouring your man of God is vital in the life of every born-again believer. Even as a Senior Pastor, it is a privilege for me to honour the men of God that I consider my spiritual fathers and mentors. THE LAW OF REPETITION

What you hear repeatedly, you will eventually believe. Repetition, our school teachers know this basic law of learning. That’s why when we were at school, we learned many things in our early years by repetition. Someone once said, “You must hear something at least 16 times, before you eventually believe it”. Television commercials are repeated over and over. These are backed up by newspaper, magazine, internet and billboard advertisements. The marketers know we must continually hear and see something before we respond to it.  Romans 10:17 says “ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ”.  It simply takes time to absorb a message.
