How Much More!

Dear Partners, Friends & Family, 

“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" Luke 11:13

Now that we are born again, we need to ask God to fill us with the Holy Spirit. From the above verse Jesus promises us that if we ask the Heavenly Father, the Giver of every good gift, for more of the Holy Spirit, the Father will honour that prayer and fill us with the Holy Spirit.

In the Book of Acts chapter 1 verse 8 we read, that Jesus said, "but you shall receive power, after the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." In the Book of Ephesians chapter 5 verse 18 we read, "And don't be drunk with wine, wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit." Jude teaches in verse 20 that we can "build ourselves up in our most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit."  One of the most effective ways for a Christian to pray, and I personally believe it is a way we can pray 'always', without running out of things to say, is by praying in the Holy Spirit. In my recent blogs I have been teaching on the importance of prayer and how we need to be praying for the nations, for our government, for Jerusalem, Israel and the Middle East for peace and prosperity in these difficult days, that the Bible describes as perilous times. 

We are living in the end times and Jesus is coming soon. The Word tells us that the Lord said, "My house shall be called a House of Prayer." The Body of Christ, the Church is here to release the Kingdom and the power of God in the earth. God wants, desires and wills for all people, everywhere to be saved. This won't happen by persuasive words alone. In order to see the great harvest of souls in these last days it's going to take a revival, a revived Spirit-filled Church operating in God's love, His power, wisdom and His anointing. In order for that to happen. We His people need to pray, and as Paul tells us in the Book of Ephesians, we need to do it always, with all prayer, perseverance and supplication. We also need to watch out for one another in the Spirit. 

As we spend time in God's Word, in prayer and in the Spirit waiting on Him, God will lay people, leaders, circumstances, places, events and even Nations on our heart. We can pray for God's will to be done and His Kingdom to come in each situation. We can pray to the limit of our own understanding for the given thing that God has laid on our heart to pray about, and then we can pray in the Holy Spirit. When we pray in the Holy Spirit, we are guaranteed that we are praying the perfect will of God, His best for that person, group of people, circumstance or situation. Daddy, Father God, knows best and He desires to give each and every one of His children more of His Holy Spirit. Every one of us needs more of God's love and God's Spirit in our life. Jesus overflowed with God's Spirit and God's love and He constantly spoke God's word of healing victory into every situation and circumstance He encountered in life. 

We also have the Scripture, the infallible and powerful Word of God to feed and meditate upon and to speak over our circumstances. Paul goes on to say in Ephesians 5:19-20 "Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

I encourage everyone of us to increase our prayer life in these days that we are living in. Let's be other minded and think about our brothers and our sisters. Also, our neighbours and what we could pray for to help them succeed and win in life through Jesus Christ. 

I dare you to uphold one another's burdens in the spirit of prayer bringing them before the Lord. I dare you to pray for your church and its leaders to be filled with the Spirit and for a fresh awakening and revival to come upon them. I dare you to pray for Australia to see the promised great awakening, outpouring of the Holy Spirit that the people of God have been believing for, for so long. I dare you to pray and ask God to use you in this hour and in His end time glory to bring healing through the name of Jesus and His love to those around you or to whom you may come in contact with.

We also have Bishop Nicholas Olumasai from Kenya joining us for ministry next Sunday. He will be giving a report and missions update of how the cows that we have purchased from the areas where he ministers to pastors and widows. These cows have now bred and are providing milk for orphans and other vulnerable people in their community. Honour your man of God

“Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.” Romans 13:7 (AMP) The word honour means: to respect, to revere, to treat with deference and submission and perform relevant duties to. THE LAW OF REPETITION

What you hear repeatedly, you will eventually believe. Repetition, our school teachers know this basic law of learning. That’s why when we were at school, we learned many things in our early years by repetition. Someone once said, “You must hear something at least 16 times, before you eventually believe it”. Television commercials are repeated over and over. These are backed up by newspaper, magazine, internet and billboard advertisements. The marketers know we must continually hear and see something before we respond to it.  Romans 10:17 says “ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ”.  It simply takes time to absorb a message.
