Awakening Australia

Praise Report! What an amazing time the Awakening Australia 2018 event at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne was.  It was such an honour to be a part of this historic Christian event.  This could of only had great positive out comes in the spirit realm, as thousands of Christians from all over Australia and our world came together to worship God!  The line-up of guest speakers was amazing and each impacted the listeners in a different way.  Plus many leaders from many denominations, were standing on the stage together in the unity of Christian faith, asking God to bless this wonderful nation of Australia and send His healing and saving power to our nation.  I am sure that if you visit Awakening Australia Facebook page or website you will be able to see and enjoy the preachers and the wonderful atmosphere of praise.

It was so good to see hundreds respond to the alter calls for salvation and re dedication of their lives to Jesus.  I had the privileged of staying an extra day and attending the water baptism service on the beach at St. Kilda.  I have included a photo of some of the people gathered at the water's edge for this great service.  I worshiped God, together with Daniel Hagen, one of the organizers of the event, in thanks giving to the greatness of our God and His wonderful love to allow such a great event to happen, providing everything that the organizers of this great event needed. 

Let me tell you about one man I watched receive water baptism, after making Jesus Christ the Lord of His life one night during the event.  He testified that before he met Jesus, he was strongly contemplating taking his own life.  But since he met Jesus every thought of suicide has vanished and he now looks forward to sharing his new faith with his friends and family. 

I watched on as scores of people got water baptized.  Locals told me that it was the warmest night of the year.  God had turned on the weather making it a lovely warm and peaceful evening, every other night had been cold or rainy and there is no way you could be baptizing in those conditions, but once again, God turned up and turned on the most beautiful evening in months. 

Another amazing thing, Bethel had sent over 200 bible college students to be ushers and counsellors at the event.  These along with other Pastors and leaders from Australian churches trained the people to go to the streets and share their faith.  Up to 15,000 people went out each day all over Melbourne sharing the love of God with others.  Chris Harvey and myself were able to minister to many people in the streets and restaurants.  One night I had the privileged of leading the owner of a Turkish restaurant to Jesus.  Another night I had the honour of leading a backslidden Christian (a French lady) who was our waitress at another restaurant back to Jesus.  We also prayed for people on the streets and in shops who received healing and encouraging prophetic words that the Lord had us share with them. 

Up to 20 people from our church went and all were mightily encouraged and refreshed.  Elizabeth Wavik was pointed out by Hedi Baker and given a prophetic word.  I am meeting with Elizabeth next week, as God has powerfully changed Elizabeth's life by this word and ministry.  We must now pray for an awakening event to be held in every capital city and especially in our capital of Brisbane.  This event so refreshed and encouraged the body Christ by bringing ministers and Christian brothers and sisters together.  In some meetings the presence of God was so strong that all Chris and I could was weep before the Lord. 

Please pray for Ben Fitzgerald and Daniel Hagen and the other organizers for their great step of faith that they took, in being obedient to Jesus and putting together this mighty event for the Glory of God and to encourage the body of Christ in Australia to see souls saved.  Pray that God refreshes and blesses them and their families so that they can keep on doing these wonderful works for Jesus!

Hundreds gather to be baptized in water at the Awakening Australia event!

Life Report!  Pastor Brian and Judy were greatly blessed at Awakening Australia.  They are staying down an extra week before they start to head home.  Pastor Brian has been asked by his son Andrew to preach at his church.  Andrew has started a church in Melbourne and already has over 60 members.  I had the great honour to minister to a few of these members and pray for them.  I will return to Melbourne early next year to minister at this church and another couple of churches, where I have an open door.  God is moving in power and it is Australia's time. 

Growth Report!  I received many invitations to come and preached.  One of these was from my new friend and fellow worker in the Lord, Bunumbirr from Arnhem Land, Northern Territory.  Bunumbirr opened the Awakening Australia event in prayer.  He has invited Chris and I to come to Arnhem Land and hold a healing crusade.  His good friend Paul McLaughlin has invited me to come in the middle of July next year and hold a healing rally in the middle of Australia.  I ask you to please start to pray into these events and God's provision to travel to, taking a team to do what God has called us to do.  

I also have invitations to Lehore, Pakistan to come and do meetings along with Kenya and India.  I am due to fly to Kenya at the beginning of December.  I am believing for the financial provision for this ministry and if you would like to contribute to this work or any of our works, please do so through the information below.

Honour your man of God

“Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.” Romans 13:7 (AMP) The word honour means: to respect, to revere, to treat with deference and submission and perform relevant duties to. Honouring your man of God is vital in the life of every born-again believer. THE LAW OF REPETITION

What you hear repeatedly, you will eventually believe. Repetition, our school teachers know this basic law of learning. That’s why when we were at school, we learned many things in our early years by repetition. Someone once said, “You must hear something at least 16 times, before you eventually believe it”. Television commercials are repeated over and over. These are backed up by newspaper, magazine, internet and billboard advertisements. The marketers know we must continually hear and see something before we respond to it.  Romans 10:17 says “ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ”.  It simply takes time to absorb a message.
