Perseverance

Perseverance is to keep on doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.  Perseverance is the quality of those who persevere to achieve something worthwhile, where others only give up and quit.  

It takes planning and perseverance to be successful in the face of obstacles.  Regardless of the presence of challenges, difficulties and discouragement, perseverance is a strength within the virtue category of courage, that all winners possess.  It is a needed ingredient to achieve their goals and realize their dream. 

In order for us to love more, reach more, win more and do more for Jesus, we all need the virtue or character quality of perseverance.  When others are challenged to quit, give up or throw in the towel, we must learn to persevere.  Remember what is says in 1 Corinthians 15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

God promises that as we persevere, we will achieve the desired results, and He will reward us.  

"Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward." (Hebrews 10:35)

I dare you to persevere in prayer for your loved ones. I dare you to continue to persevere in prayer for the upcoming state elections in Queensland. We need to see righteousness re-established in the land. We need to continue to pray for all those who are in authority, that we might live peaceable lives and our states and countries flourish and are blessed. I dare you to persevere in prayer for the upcoming elections in the United States of America. We need to see God's will done and the right people of His choosing being put into positions of authority.

The church must pray, and we must continue to persevere in prayer to see an end to this Covid-19 virus with all of its associated problems and restrictions it is causing around the world.

Jesus gave us authority to pray in His name.  He gave us the authority to bind forces of darkness that try to operate in this world.  He said, "...whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."  Matthew 18:18.

Church, in every nation, you have the authority to bind Satan and this evil virus from operating any longer in your area.  Let's take authority over it together this week in the mighty name of Jesus and break its power to hurt, control, steal and destroy any longer in our nation.

I dare you to continue to persevere in prayer to see His kingdom come and His will done on earth, as it is in heaven.  Let's persevere together in prayer to see a great outpouring of glory and a vast ingathering of souls into the Kingdom, for the glory of God.

Honour your man of God

“Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.” Romans 13:7 (AMP) The word honour means: to respect, to revere, to treat with deference and submission and perform relevant duties to. Honouring your man of God is vital in the life of every born-again believer. THE LAW OF REPETITION

What you hear repeatedly, you will eventually believe. Repetition, our school teachers know this basic law of learning. That’s why when we were at school, we learned many things in our early years by repetition. Someone once said, “You must hear something at least 16 times, before you eventually believe it”. Television commercials are repeated over and over. These are backed up by newspaper, magazine, internet and billboard advertisements. The marketers know we must continually hear and see something before we respond to it.  Romans 10:17 says “ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ”.  It simply takes time to absorb a message.
