Hold Fast!

Dear Partners, Family and Friends,

"But hold fast what you have till I come" Revelation 2:25.

In these changing, challenging and uncertain times, we have the word of God as an anchor for our souls.  Our minds and our emotions are all part of the soul of our being.  We express emotions and attitudes from our heart through our soul which affects even our physical posture.

Jesus instructs us to hold fast to that which we have, to stay steadfast and firm in our faith until He comes.  As Bob Dylan sang, "For the times they are a-changin."  It is so good to have a constant and unchanging word of victory and hope from our God in these challenging times.  I dare you to believe that you serve a God who changes not, and He has not changed His mind about you or His love plan for your life!

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11.

I dare you to believe, confess and hold fast to the above verse.  I dare you to decree that your God has prosperous and peaceful plans for your life that are all good, giving you purpose, hope and a great future!

"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful" Hebrews 10:23.

Once again, we see the instruction from the Word of God to HOLD FAST!  Hold fast that which is good in your life.  Hold fast the WORD!  Hold fast the promises of God in these uncertain times and you can be certain of this, God will come through for you!  His word will prove true for you!  He will not abandon you! He will not leave you!  He will not forsake you!  Man may leave you, even your family may desert you, but Jesus is always with you, loving you and caring for you!

A wise man once said, "Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly."  When you are confronted with challenges that are difficult to conquer, or you have questions arise, the answers to which you do not know, hold fast to the things you do know.

Jesus encourages us to cast our cares upon Him, for He cares for us!  He tells us to be anxious for nothing, but to believe in God and to believe also in Him.

In Revelation 3:11 it says, "Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown."

The word crown here means "A crown or wreath given to a victor."  It is a crown of victory!  So then Jesus is exhorting us, not to let anyone take away our Victory!  You are more than conquerors through the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ paid the price for you to have total victory in every area of your life and circumstances.

What is your posture?  What is your attitude?  What are your words revealing about you today?  Do you see yourself on the victor's side?  Do you see yourself in the team that wins?  Are you living for your God, holding fast His word and looking for and expecting His return?  Are you dancing, praising and shouting the VICTORY?

I dare you to live today in the victory that Christ paid for you with His life and blood.  I dare you to raise your hands right now and let us declare together, "Jesus Christ is Lord!"  I dare you to believe the word, to hold fast the confession of your faith without wavering, and to go forth and conquer over every circumstance you face.  I dare you to win in life, through Jesus Christ.

Plan your life like you are a victor and that Jesus is not coming for a hundred years, but live your life like He is coming this afternoon.  Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus.

God bless and much love,

Ps. Shaun Marler
