A fulfilled life is when you find God, and in that finding, you awaken to how blessed and favoured you are. - Dr. Shaun Marler
Last week I shared on the fulfilled life and what it means to live a
fulfilled life. Once again, let's have a look at some qualities of a
fulfilled life: 1. A fulfilled life celebrates God! 2. A fulfilled life
adds value to people. 3. A fulfilled life casts its cares upon God. 4. A
fulfilled life experiences God's wholeness.
We took these qualities and abilities from Philippians 4:4-7.
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your
gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about
anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which
transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in
Christ Jesus."
If you want to live this fulfilled life we have been speaking about, then God goes on to show us how, in verses 8 and 9.
Philippians 4:8-9 says, "Finally, brothers and
sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything
is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have
learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into
practice. And the God of peace will be with you."
I dare you, as the scripture says, to put into practice these life-changing principles for victorious living. Fill your mind today with God's thoughts. Ecclesiastes says, "Wise thinking leads to good and right living." Wrong and stupid thinking leads to wrong living. God's word teaches us how to think right.
Ecclesiastes 10:2-3, "Wise thinking leads to right
living; Stupid thinking leads to wrong living. Fools on the road have
no sense of direction. The way they walk tells the story: “There goes
the fool again!”
Thinking right causes us to live right! Living right leads to victory and fulfilment in life.
Human beings can alter their life by altering their thinking and their
attitude. How we think and what we think, is what we believe. Our attitude is a product of what we believe.
The most important real estate that you will ever own is what is inside
your head, where you think, where you imagine and where you dream. It goes down into your spirit and shapes you.
It is shaping your world and your future. As we meditate on God's
word, thinking God's word, basing our lives and actions on God's
word, His supernatural creative ability will go to work in and on your
behalf.
Remember Ephesians 3:20, "Now to Him Who, by (in
consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is
able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and
above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest
prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]."
I dare you to think heavens thoughts today! I dare you to meditate His word and live the life you have dreamed.
