Your Life Talk!

Dear Partners, Family and Friends,

"For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." - Matthew 12:34b

In the above scripture, we can see how Jesus informs us, that out of the abundant thoughts of our heart, the mouth speaks.  This morning, as I checked my Instagram, in my feed, there was a post from Joshua Mills.  It was about the three portals that our words should pass through.  In his post, he referred to Psalm 141:3, "Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips."  Joshua asks three questions of the words that pass through our lips.  1. Are they true?  2. Are they necessary?  3. Are they kind?

He then quotes Ephesians 4:29 (AMP), "Do not let unwholesome [foul, profane, worthless, vulgar] words ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear [you speak]."

I believe these are three great questions to ask ourselves.  Our words need to impart life, faith and encouragement to those that hear them.  I dare you to have a goal, that you will speak a blessing over others.  We need to speak positively over others, especially over our children and our families.  Words frame lives!

We can see from the book of Hebrews that God framed the world with the words of His mouth.  God spoke forth words, and life came into existence. When God speaks, the entrance of His words brings light and life.

"By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible" (Hebrews 11:3).

It says in Proverbs 4:23, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life."

Jesus' life talk showed what was in His heart in abundance, what He believed and the realm in which He lived.  Jesus lived in the glory realm.  He carried the presence of God where ever He went.  Jesus shifted atmospheres.  He spoke and created peace where ever He went, because peace was in Him.  The Kingdom of heaven was in Him.  Jesus had a great life talk, which completely revealed the belief of His heart.  He lived in the 'all things are possible' realm.  He spoke and ministered out of this realm.  This was confirmed in Mark 9:23, when He said, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

"The mouth of the righteous is a well of life, But violence covers the mouth of the wicked" (Proverbs 10:11).

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit" (Proverbs 18:21)

God tells us in the book of Deuteronomy 30:19, "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live."

I dare you to choose life, to speak life!  I dare you to act like Jesus and to speak peace and the answer on and over the situation.  Speak words of life into the circumstanceThe circumstances will begin to change and line up with the victory that you are seeking, as you frame them with the Word of God.

"The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God”  (Psalm 14:1a).   Fools don't speak life.

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God’” (Matthew 4:4).

If we want to act like Jesus, release the life of Christ through our lives, then we must fill our hearts and our minds with the Word of God.  We must learn to meditate, imagine, mutter, revolving the Word of God in our hearts and minds; fill our hearts to overflowing with the Word and the love of God, so that out of our hearts will flow rivers of living water.

I dare you to line up your life talk with the WORD OF GOD!

God bless and much love,

Ps. Shaun Marler
