The Power of Fulfilled Desires
Dear Family, Partners and Friends,
"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life." - Proverbs 13:12.
Hold fast to your dreams, even if they seem delayed or far away. Do not let your dreams die. Life without dreams or desires is like a broken-wing bird that cannot fly.
From the above scripture, we read that when someone's hopes are deferred or delayed, their heart can become sick. One of the meanings of the word 'deferred' is the word 'delayed'. It means when things seem to drag on or drag out. This can have the effect of weakening the heart or making it sick. A person that allows this to happen, can be caught up into negative emotions and feelings. This is not good ground to grow and produce what your heart desires.
The word 'heart' here refers to the inner man. But it also refers to the mind and the will. A person with a sick inner heart and a broken will can actually become brokenhearted, which in turn can affect their whole life. The Bible says when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. A tree that produces life and good fruit needs to be fed the right fertilizer, food and the ground needs to be kept sweet. The tree, to produce life, needs to be watered regularly.
We must constantly feed our minds the good Word and promises of God. We must strengthen our will with good testimonies. We must feed and keep the inner man sweet and well-watered. Praise and worship God regularly. Thank Him for His goodness and His wonderful works to you.
Remember the GOOD things He has done. Encourage yourself in the Lord as David did.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1
I dare you to read and meditate on the above scripture and allow faith to be the very substance or the thing that you hope for.
Even if you don't see the desire fulfilled or manifested. Call it into being and declare it is yours because, by faith in the unseen realm, the very thing that you are believing for is coming together, coming into existence and exists already. The desire that you hoped for now comes into being in the unseen realm exists, and is yours already through the unseen substance of faith.
The phrase, 'when the desire comes,' means a dream fulfilled. A dream fulfilled is a tree of life!
Don't let Satan steal your dreams! Don't let the dream or the desire go! I dare you, by faith and patience, to inherit the promises of God.
“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert" (Isaiah 43:18-19).
God promises to send rivers of water to your dry desert times. He promises to do a new thing and causes those new things to spring forth! I encourage you today to hold fast to your dreams through the Word of God. Don't let the devil steal your joy! Encourage yourself in the Lord and believe those things that you say with your mouth will come to pass and stand in faith, giving glory to God until they manifest, in Jesus' name!
Empowering you to win in life through Jesus Christ.
God bless, and have a great day!
