The Force of Faith

Dear Partners, Friends & Family,

This is a great quote from Martin Luther King, Jr. God has laid it on my heart to re-study and share on the topic of faith. Last Sunday Ps. Cherise brought an excellent life-giving and encouraging word on the importance of faith and what we can expect this supernatural power to achieve for us. 

In Mark 11:23 Jesus exhorts us to have, obtain and operate in the God-kind of faith. The God-kind of faith is a free gift that is birthed in our spirit when we are born-again. From there, we can cultivate and grow our faith by feeding on the Word of God, praying in tongues and putting this miraculous force to work in our lives.

Please read and meditate on the following three scriptures:

Romans 10:17 - "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

Jude 20 - "But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit."

Mark 11:22-23 - "So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says."

Wow! Did you read that? Can you see this incredible force of faith, that we have been given by our Father in heaven, can move mountains! 

Kenneth Hagen Snr was noted for saying, "Faith is an act!". From the quote above mentioned, to climb the staircase we must take the first step. The book of James tells us that faith without corresponding actions is dead. I dare you today to put legs to your faith. I dare you today, put voice to your faith. Speak to the mountain and command it to move.

I dare you today to act out your faith and praise God that you have received the answer when you prayed. Praise Him that the victory has been won for you by Jesus at the cross and that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you. 

I dare you to praise Him that you have obtained the mountain moving faith of God and then start to operate in it by speaking to the mountains of problems in your life and casting them out of the way, by praising God that the mountain has moved, because you are a mountain moving believer. By faith decree and declare that the mountain HAS moved.

Honour your man of God

“Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.” Romans 13:7 (AMP) The word honour means: to respect, to revere, to treat with deference and submission and perform relevant duties to. THE LAW OF REPETITION

What you hear repeatedly, you will eventually believe. Repetition, our school teachers know this basic law of learning. That’s why when we were at school, we learned many things in our early years by repetition. Someone once said, “You must hear something at least 16 times, before you eventually believe it”. Television commercials are repeated over and over. These are backed up by newspaper, magazine, internet and billboard advertisements. The marketers know we must continually hear and see something before we respond to it.  Romans 10:17 says “ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ”.  It simply takes time to absorb a message.
