Update - May 2024!

Dear Partners, Friends & Family, 

I have heard all about you, Lord.
    I am filled with awe by your amazing works.
In this time of our deep need,
    help us again as you did in years gone by.
And in your anger,
    remember your mercy.
Habakkuk 3:2 NLT

I love this scripture from the book of Habakkuk. In the King James Version, it brings out the word 'revive'. This is the Hebrew word 'Chayah' which means, 'to live, to continue in life, to have life again'. It means to be quickened from sickness, from discouragement of heart, from faintness or from wanting to quit, also from death. It means to let live, persevere alive, to give life, to revive, to restore to life, to refresh.

It has been prophesied in the Word and also by prophets down through the generations, that before Jesus returns there would be a great awakening, a great revival that would lead to a great harvest of souls for the Lord Jesus Christ. From the above scripture we can see that it is God's will, it is His great desire to repeat and do His amazing works and His awesome deeds again in these last days. In the New International Version, it reads like this: Lord, repeat them in our time, make them known and in Your wrath remember Your mercy.

God is a God of great compassion, love, kindness and mercy. He is not willing that any should perish but everyone should come to salvation. We are living in the times of the great awakening and the great revival that is going to lead to the greatest harvest of souls that the world has ever seen. Jesus is Lord and He is moving in power and glory through His church, His body, His people again right now. 

Today is the day of salvation, God is calling us to repentance, He is calling us back to Him, back to our first love that we had when we were first saved. Jesus loves you; He loves your family, and He loves the people of this world. He loves you so much that He went to the cross, shed His blood, gave His life for you, so that you could have eternal life and be born into His family. You can become a child of God. 

Revival is breaking out all over the world. There is a fresh move and God is using people to bring in this great harvest. He wants to use you! He wants to use us! People that have been indifferent to God, backslidden or just not living for Him have been getting saved and coming back to Jesus. We are partnering with ministries that are winning each week many souls to Jesus. One ministry that we partner with has 43 outreaches a week all over the Brisbane area, where we are going to homeless shelters, doing soup kitchens, and ministering to families that are doing it tough in today's economy.  Tonight, I am speaking on Russel Island in the Bay where every Friday night we are partnering with a church and ministry that is running a community kitchen giving out a free meal to the community and sharing the gospel. Every Monday night we partner with another church that is feeding the local homeless community with a free meal and again, the gospel. These outreaches already this year have seen hundreds of people surrender their lives to Christ or make fresh decisions to follow Jesus. 

I have just returned from Hervey Bay, where we have been working with Living Word Bundaberg and a tent outreach ministry headed up by Aaron Gwilliam. Working alongside Pastor Daniel Jones, Neil Scott, Aaron Gwilliam with others and myself, we have seen many lives touched and changed through sharing the saving message of the gospel and our Lord Jesus Christ. In Bundaberg the street outreach teams reported leading over 560 people to Jesus. On the streets and shores of Hervey Bay, the outreach team reported over 400 people yielded their lives to Christ after hearing the good news of the gospel. One Christian lady who has lived in Hervey Bay for many years, went out for the first time on street outreach and on the Wednesday night meeting I spoke at, she testified, she has never seen anything like it before in Hervey Bay. She said, and I quote, "The fields are white, and Hervey Bay is ripe for harvest, and in all the years that I've lived here, I have never seen so many people open to the gospel."

I myself, went out sharing the gospel on the streets and total strangers allowed me to pray for them and share Jesus with them. In the night meeting many young indigenous teenagers who had given their hearts to Jesus on the streets or in the meetings, came out the front and were singing and dancing before the Lord. Pastor Daniel Jones of Living Word Bundaberg reported that his church was filled to capacity and overflowing this past Sunday post the outreaches that had taken place in the Bundaberg area the week prior.

Next weekend, Fire Church Brisbane is holding a street outreach in the local area, and we will be taking a team out to pray for and share the love of God to our community. The last time we went out on outreach, even in the pouring rain, on a cold and windy evening, 3 precious people gave their hearts to Jesus.
