The Bible, The Secret to Life!

Hi Partners, Family and Friends,

“Heroes in the Bible came from all walks of life—rulers, servants, teachers, doctors—male, female, single, and married.  Yet one common denominator united them. They built their lives on the promises of God.  God’s promises are unbreakable.  Our hope is unshakable!  Our influence will be unstoppable! 

I dare you, to build your life on the promises of God's word and let God lead you by His Holy Spirit and you also will become a hero and the champion God destined you to be.  Remember, after the first Passover, when God brought the children of Israel out of 400 years of slavery and bondage, He gave them the Torah, His word.  Then at the new birth, on the day of Pentecost, after the death, resurrection and ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ, God gave us, His children, the fullness of His Spirit.  We now have the old and the new covenant, we now have the former and the latter rain.  We now have the Word and the Spirit, so that we can become all God has destined us to be. 

John 1:12 says, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"

You have received the power through Jesus Christ to become the fully mature sons and daughters of God, to bring His Kingdom to earth.  Just like Jesus did. 

Focus is not just a word, it’s a mandate.  Focus on your priorities not your problems.  Focus on your mandate.  Focus on where you are going, destination desired.  The greatest thing you can have in life is an idea. Dreams don’t have an expiration date.  Set goals to achieve your dream.  Focus on achieving these goals, they become rungs in the ladder to success.  Remember success is a journey, go forth and succeed today.  In Jesus mighty name, you can do it, I know you can.  I dare you to be what you have dreamed to be.  Remember Ecclesiastes says, “the dream comes through a multitude of business."  As Jesus said, "Today, I must be about my father's business."  Power blog for your day from Dr Shaun Marler.

Harvest Update! I am pleased to announce that this week on Wednesday morning, we had our first 'Awakening Sisters' life group.  About 13 ladies came along, including Elijah (our grandson) and I, dropped in after a leadership breakfast with one of our pastors to say, "hi." 

Men's Breakfast.  This Saturday our Men's Brekky will be held at Brisbane Aboriginal, Islander - Christian Congress, 385 Zillmere Rd, Zillmere QLD 4034 @ 7:30am.  Ps. David Paasi will be bringing a short motivational and encouraging word for the men.  I dare you to invite people to this event and remember also that our life groups are happening regularly and these are places for you to bring your unsaved loved ones for prayer and to get to know some wonderful people, where they can make new friends.

Honour your man of God

“Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.” Romans 13:7 (AMP) The word honour means: to respect, to revere, to treat with deference and submission and perform relevant duties to. Honouring your man of God is vital in the life of every born-again believer. Even as a Senior Pastor, it is a privilege for me to honour the men of God that I consider my spiritual fathers and mentors. They are life coaches to me on my spiritual journey to success, shining examples of excellence in ministry, men to whom I look for advice, prayer, guidance and leadership. THE LAW OF REPETITION

What you hear repeatedly, you will eventually believe. Repetition, our school teachers know this basic law of learning. That’s why when we were at school, we learned many things in our early years by repetition. Someone once said, “You must hear something at least 16 times, before you eventually believe it”. Television commercials are repeated over and over. These are backed up by newspaper, magazine, internet and billboard advertisements. The marketers know we must continually hear and see something before we respond to it.  Romans 10:17 says “ So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God ”.  It simply takes time to absorb a message.
