Faith Part 2

Dear Partner, Family & Friends,

“Get faith before you need it, so that when you need it, you already have it.”- Dr Shaun Marler

I felt to do a part 2 on faith.  As I stated last week, faith is the most crucial subject in the bible, because it gives us access to all of the promises of God.

Mark 9:23 declares, "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth."

And again in Matthew 19:26, "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."

With faith, we can move mountains!  You can move the mountainous obstacles, out of your way and cast them into the sea, by commanding them to go, in the Name of Jesus!

Mark 11:23-24 says, "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

How Do We Get This Moutain Moving Faith?

“So then FAITH COMETH BY HEARING, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17).  The best way to get faith is to hear the Word of God.  It is important for us not only to hear it with our ears but also with our hearts.  To hear God’s Word in our hearts requires openness and hunger for God’s message.

I suggest reading the Bible aloud, particularly the New Testament.  Say the scriptures to yourselves.  Insert your own name where the message is personal.  Make a list of the promises God’s Word has for you.  By faith, believe, receive, and confess them daily.  Faith will grow as we continually hear God’s Word.

Who Can Have Faith?

“.... God hath dealt to EVERY MAN the measure of faith” (Romans 12:3).

Paul is writing to the Christians in Rome.  God has dealt to every Christian the measure of faith.  But we also have faith to be saved before we are Christians.  The Bible says “whosoever will” (Revelation 22:17) can be saved.  Evidently, any person who hears God’s Word and will act on it can exercise faith.  That includes all who will HEAR and OBEY God’s Word - saved or in the process of being saved.

People who do not hear God’s Word or will not obey it do not have the God-kind of faith.  Faith requires hearing and obeying.

“And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for ALL MEN HAVE NOT FAITH”  (2 Thessalonians 3:2).

So then anybody who is prepared to hear and study God’s Word and act on it, can have faith and increase their faith.  Faith is like a muscle; the more you use it, the stronger it will grow.

Smith Wigglesworth was a man known for his great faith!  He would always like to say, “Dare to believe, and then dare to speak, and you shall have whatsoever you say if you doubt not.”

I dare you, if you want to realise the mighty power of faith contained in the Word of God and experience its benefits, then you must be a doer of the Word and not hearers only.  (James 1:22).  For it is in doing of God’s Word that we are blessed.  I dare you to put the promises, found in God's word to work through the power of confession.  If you do, you will reap the benefits in your life, family and business.

In next weeks blog, I will give you a list of power confessions from the word of God, to help you win in life, through Jesus Christ.

God bless and much love,

Ps. Shaun Marler
