Your Most Important Decision

"To love must be our most important decision and highest priority." Dr. Shaun Marler

Hi Partners, Family and Friends,

I am sure you have all seen what is happening in and around our world. Jesus told us through His Word that perilous times would arise in the last days. The world has been facing one crisis after another. The recent events in America, caused by the terrible injustice that happened to George Floyd, are another sign as to the uncertainty and peril of these last days. In the midst of peaceful rallies and people crying out for an end to injustice and wrong, we see terrible acts of violence and vandalism. More innocent lives and businesses are being hurt and destroyed. It is so sad that people are not allowed to go out and protest peacefully for change, without these others that are there for the wrong reasons.

If the world ever needed the message of Christ's love, it is now. If the world ever needed the prayers of the saints (that is your prayers and my prayers), it is now! Only Jesus and the power of His Spirit, can right these wrongs. We need a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit and a great healing revival of the Father's love. George's family have asked that the destruction to other's property and lives ceases. I saw an interview with George's family minister. He said that the family are Christians, they want justice, and they appreciate the peaceful protests, but he reiterated, their desire for the needless destruction and theft of other people's lives and personal property to cease.

Jesus told us to love others as we love ourselves. He taught us to love God with all of our hearts and to love our neighbours and do them good and not harm. As I have said, many times, in the book of John 10:10"It is the thief, Satan, who comes to steal, kill and destroy." Jesus said, "That He has come to give us life and that life more abundantly."

The world needs to change, and injustice, prejudice and all forms of racism need to end. I believe with all of my heart, what the bible teaches. It teaches us that God loves us. He loves all people or all kindreds, tribes and nations. The Word teaches us that in Abraham shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Jesus died for all people everywhere, and everyone is equal in His sight. There is no colour; there is neither male or female; there is neither Jew or Greek. We are all one in Christ.

We are seeing an escalation of the distress of nations, trouble that is coming on the face of the whole earth. Never before in the history of man, have events touched the face of the whole earth at the same time. When Jesus prophecied about the future end days, He spoke about things that would touch the face of the whole earth. From His prophecies (in the scriptures below) we can tell that we are in the last days, as these events that happen in our world, are now touching everyone everywhere, at the same time.

Luke 21:34-36 says, "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

It is only Jesus, that can change our hearts! And that is exactly what He has promised to do in His Word for us, when we make Him our Lord.  Jesus can change hate to love, war to peace, curse to blessings, unforgiveness to forgiveness, scarcity to abundance and death to life. Let's take advice from our Lord by giving heed to the above scriptures in the book of Luke. I dare you all to become part of the answer instead of the problem.  Let us all love God and love each other more, forgiving and righting wrongs, believing for a better day.  As I have stated in previous blogs, I believe we are in the beginning of sorrows, but the great day of 'The Rapture' as mentioned about in verse 36 is approaching.

Until that day, when we that love Jesus are all caught away to His presence, let us continue to pray, for the leaders of the Nations. They need our prayers right now.  There is too much criticism of people and leaders who want change and are doing their best to achieve it. Pray that God gives them the wisdom to implement the changes that our world needs in these times.  Pray that our leaders kneel before the Lord, humbling themselves unto Him, asking Him for His divine assistance, wisdom and blessing. Pray for God to raise up labourers (pray to be one) in these last days, to help bring in the great harvest of souls, before He comes. Pray for the peace of Israel and Jerusalem. Jerusalem and Israel will only be in true and great peace, when the great King of Peace, Jesus Himself, comes and takes possession of His City. Pray for the Kingdom of God to come on earth, and His will to be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Jesus says in the book of Revelation, in the last chapter and second last verse of the bible, "Surely, I come quickly."  Let us all decree and declare the rest of the verse with Him, "Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus." As the scripture says in the very last verse of the bible, "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen."

God bless and much love,

Ps. Shaun Marler
