More Than Before

Dear Partners, Family and Friends, "Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee."  -  Jeremiah 32:17 The Bible tells us in the book of Proverbs 10:22 ,  "The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it."  In other translations, this verse reads that the blessing brings wealth without painful toil or sorrow added to it . God wants what you put into your hand to prosper. In the book of Mark 9:23 , "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth."   We are now at day 21 of a '21 Day Daniel Fast' . As a fellowship, along with the other Fire Churches, we have been seeking God for your breakthrough! We have been seeking God to see a great outpouring of His Spirit and revival in the lands. We are asking God for a fresh, empowering, renewing breath of His Spirit to breathe upon His people ag...

God's Moving

Image
Dear Partners, Family and Friends, I hope that you are doing well and powering into 2023.  We have been very busy here at Fire Church Brisbane and World Harvest Ministries.   Myself and a small team travelled to Victoria, where I ministered in the Fire Church at Hawthorn.  It was a great day and many were in encouraged. Words of wisdom, words of knowledge and prophecy came fourth as the Spirit led, lives were touched and people were greatly encouraged.   From there, we travelled two hours east to the Gippsland to join with Daniel Hagen Ministries and evangelist Tim Hall for 'Ignite Gippsland'.  Revival was breaking out as Pastor Daniel and Tim Hall ministered God's word in daily and night meetings. Teams hit the streets to witness, pray and lead people to Christ.  It was so great to be a part of these wonderful meetings that saw over 237 souls give their hearts to Jesus and many mighty miracles of healing take place.   From there we...

Eternal Hope in a Troubled World

Image
Dear Partners, Friends and Family, In Corinthians 13, it tells us that three things remain forever! They are Hope, Faith and Love. Christmas time speaks of these three things more than any other time of the year. Christmas is a time when the majority of people start to wind down their year by focusing on spending time with their families. As we believers know, Christmas represents a season of giving, joy and celebration.   But to us who believe, it is so much more than this. Christmas commemorates the birth of God's Son, Jesus, the Saviour of the entire world. God gave us the gift of His Son so that through Him, we might receive God's gift of eternal life. Not just eternal life in the future, to come, but eternal life birthed in our spirit by the Spirit of God now.   Jesus is the reason for this season! He is the Hope of the whole earth, and through Him, you can have life everlasting. A guarantee that your best is still to come, and by faith in Him, that is Jesus, you ...

Health Empowerment

Image
Dear Partners, family and friends, "Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers." - 3 John 2. From the above scripture, we can see that it is God's will that, as believers, we enjoy wholesome lives, spirit, soul and body. As we meditate and do a deeper dive into the meanings of the words in this scripture, we get to see, understand and feel how much  God desires for us to enjoy life, live it and experience it to the full.   First and foremost, you are, we are, called the Beloved.  The Beloved is also the title of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Through this verse of scripture, it is revealed that God loves us as much as he loves His own Son, Jesus. The Father referred to Jesus as His 'Beloved Son' and here He speaks of the believers in the same glowing terms.  He refers to us as His beloved children.   He goes on to say that He wishes, prays, and desires that we prosper and live in health ...

Poise

Image
Dear Partners, family and friends, " That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises."  - Hebrews 6:12 Poise is a strong word that presents a good attitude.  For someone to be at poise, it means they are in an attitude or position of calm confidence.  There is a quiet confidence in their behaviour.  A quality of grace, moving in an attractive way.  A balance in the way a person holds or moves their body.   Not only in the natural stance, but also in the spiritual stance, a person's poise will be affected by what they are believing and subsequently speaking.  Remember, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.  Poise is faith with patience.  A powerful force that combined together, causes one to inherit the thing promised in God's Word.  You can tell by a person's body language whether they are at rest or in stress.   As God's people, we need to be in a...

The Power of Fulfilled Desires

Image
Dear Family, Partners and Friends, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life." -  Proverbs 13:12. Hold fast to your dreams, even if they seem delayed or far away. Do not let your dreams die. Life without dreams or desires is like a broken-wing bird that cannot fly.  From the above scripture, we read that when someone's hopes are deferred or delayed, their heart can become sick.  One of the meanings of the word 'deferred' is the word 'delayed' . It means when things seem to drag on or drag out.  This can have the effect of weakening the heart or making it sick.  A person that allows this to happen, can be caught up into negative emotions and feelings.  This is not good ground to grow and produce what your heart desires.   The word 'heart' here refers to the inner man. But it also refers to the mind and the will. A person with a sick inner heart and a broken will can actually become broken...

Become As Little Children

Image
Dear Family, Friends and Partners, "At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"  And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,  And said, "Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.  Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 18:1-4). I have been sharing with you on the force and the power of forgiveness.  The 18th Chapter of Matthew's Gospel amongst other things, is a powerful teaching on the divine force of forgiveness.  Once again, we see the law of sowing and reaping at work.  As we read to the end of the chapter, we can see from the teachings of Jesus, that those that do not sow forgiveness will neither reap forgiveness, but will be turned over to the tormentors.   Through my last three blogs, I h...
