The Joy of the Lord Dear Partners, Friends & Family, "Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” - Nehemiah 8:10b The Hebrew word 'Joy' here means gladness and comes from another Hebrew word with the meaning 'rejoicing' with gladness and joy . We have been looking at the force of joy for the last couple of weeks. Remember , 'joy' is a force of the re-born or re-created human spirit. In 2 Corinthians 5:17 - " Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." It says, "if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation," or we could say, a species of being that never existed before. When you are in Christ, you are a new creation, a child of the Most-High God.
