Beating the Blues

There are varying degrees of depression, from a mild case of the blues to full-on clinical depression. To cope with something, you must first recognize its source. Satan is the author of depression. It is one of his favourite tools for ravaging the minds of men and women of today. Look at the current suicide rates.

Evil spirits like depression attack you in order to crush and break your spirit, harassing your mind with fear, doubt and uncertainty. They are the cause of frustration, can destroy your health, your peace of mind and even your home! If you do not take dominion over them. 

James 4:7 says, "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."

Refuse to be Satan's dumping ground! Boldly quote the Word of God! The Word is the Christian's most effective weapon against the enemy!

2 Corinthians 10:4, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

Know who you are and know your rights!  

Revelation 12:11 says, "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death."

Romans 8:36 says, “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

We are overcomers! We are King's kids! When the devil messes with you, he is messing with a child of the King!

As Christians, we are in a very real warfare with the devil. But we have the VICTORY! We can cast him out! 

Mark 16:17 says, "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;"

Take authority!
Use the Name!
Know your rights!
Get informed!

If you don't know who you are, anyone can tell you who you are!

PUT ON GOD'S AMOUR!

Ephesians 6:10-18 says, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints."

Luke 10:19 says, "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you."  

You have, we have authority!

The name of Jesus belongs to you! I dare you to use it! I dare you to stand your ground fearlessly, in the power and the might of our Lord, against any and all odds.

Philippians 2:9-10 says, "Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,"

Isaiah 10:27 says, "It shall come to pass in that day. That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil."

"The anointing breaks the yoke! What is the anointing? It is that supernaturally energizing force within you that makes the Spirit-filled life, forcible, effective and productive!" - Don Gosset.

1 John 2:27 says, "But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him."

It abides in you! Take it by faith! The anointing is the quality that makes you dynamic for the Lord!

Acts 1:8, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

It brings Christ-like results in our life! It gives us authority to speak the name of Jesus to speak against all satanic powers!  

Psalm 92:10, "But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil. Anointed with fresh oil!"

Fresh infillings and anointing!

Acts 4:29-31 says, "Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the Word of God with boldness."

Fervent anointed prayer in the Spirit builds up our Faith! Praying in the Holy Spirit - tongues!

It's the anointing that breaks and destroys! See we should cherish this unction that abides within us and daily yield to the Holy Spirit and Word, to impart fresh oil, keeping our lamps full!

If your lamp is filled with oil and you are keeping your eyes on Jesus, declaring the VICTORY over every obstacle. You will not only be life ready, but Rapture Ready also!
